Why aren't ex players REFEREEING?

**** got absolutely sh*t on at the end there

He puts it down on the paint - then the ball rolls away - try scored - immaterial what happens after

I agree, Paul Gallen should be the NRLs no1 referee.

Off to the games today.

Looking forward to the atmosphere and all the drunk Queenslanders.

After watching Wigan book their spot at Wembley this afternoon, I was made up to come home and see the Sharks turn over the Roosters, Another terrific contest. Nicho Hynes is so good.

The suncorp pitch looked absolutely butchered by Saturday night and worse all day Sunday
Yeah it was awful, really early in the weekend.

Just not sure it gets enough sun? Seems to get covered from the grandstands quickly.

I think theyve had a bit of rain up there of late too which likely doesnt help.

Not helped by the extra game on Thursday

Yep, absolutely.

I'm torn on that - it helped produce a big crowd due to everyone being up there anyway but then you're putting the turf under even more duress on an already big weekend.

Yep it’s catch 22, I just wonder would they have got similar at say Townsville?
