We need some real upsets if Freo win. Like Norf beating the Dogs or Hawks.

It makes its extremely unlikely but not impossible.

Basically we need 2 of Carlton, Freo, Doggies and Hawks to miss the 8. Looking at the draw, the most likely are Freo with their matchups and Carlton with their injuries and general tendency to shit the bed when it matters.

Doggies and Hawks have an easy run home, so despite us mathematically being able to go past them it's extremely unlikely either of the. drop their last 2 games. Dogs would have to lose to North this week and GWS next week. Hawks would need to lose to Richmond then North.
