Yes, we were told several times at this year's AGM that it was HIS board (to be fair though he was also implying that it wasn't the Afls).Anyone talking about the board sacking Koch has to remember that he picked the overwhelming majority of them.

Never take things too seriously, mate.Jonas, cassisi and current afl assistant coach Schofield touted as CD’s replacement? wtf.
Looked at our W/L record excluding the close 0-12 pt games (which there is a degree of luck).
Excl finals
2024 16-7 less 6-1 = 10-6
2023 17-6 less 6-1 = 11-5
2022 10-12 less 2-7 = 8-5
2021 17-5 less 5-0 = 12-5
2020 14-3 less 2-0 = 12-3
2019 11-11 less 1-2 = 10-9
2018 12-10 less 3-4 = 9-6
2017 14-8 less 1-2 = 13-6
2016 10-12 less 0-3 = 10-9
2015 12-10 less 3-5 = 9-5
2014 14-8 less 2-5 = 12-3
2013 12-10 less 5-3 = 7-7
Taking out the close games,
2014 the high point, 2020 being the Covid year.
And every other year is almost a rinse and repeat (good but not great)
We want to win as a club, however….
If we lose another PF, how much longer…….?
There's more than 2.
There's more than 2.
Yep.At this stage it is just pure unadulterated pessimism mixed with a splash of hyperbole.
It's because Port Adelaide is essentially run by the AFL.I am just rustled that any success Port has now is attributed to Hinkley. I want the wins and gf appearance but resent that Ken is lauded for it while his past shiteness is memory-holed.
It's not only this, it's the way he plays up to it. When have you ever heard Hinkley, after a win, make a point of highlighting his support staff/assistant coaches? He doesn't. It's all him. Even Mark Williams, as crazy as he was, ALWAYS made a point of singling out all of his assistant coaches for high praise in post win press conferences as the club was marching towards a premiership. Not this guy.I am just rustled that any success Port has now is attributed to Hinkley. I want the wins and gf appearance but resent that Ken is lauded for it while his past shiteness is memory-holed.

He's still our coach because your last shot at goal went a few cms to the left, ****ing crazy hey, that his job has been saved by a poster.Sorry for my late attendance. May I wholeheartedly apologise for my clubs pitiful performance enabling the orc like man child to retain his job for the foreseeable future. Words cannot express my disappointment best of luck for expediting this worthy cause.
Why is the focus always on poor Ken? What about the club as a whole, and what about the longsuffering fans, who have had to endure 2 decades of mediocrity?I'm getting to the stage where I wouldn't be surprised if they give him another 1 year extension because he couldn't possibly coach out the final year of his contract, the pressure wouldn't be fair.

Palmer bet want port to win. They know how motivating disrespectful social media messages are.Let him keep coaching, we are so well respected…..

If Hinkley becomes successful you’ll need to leave Adelaide fast. The problem with Hinkley staying and being successful is that it likely means the club is unlikely to change its views towards fans. The continued attacks and gaslighting will continue and any hope for reconciliation is just gone forever
What we need is the same 8 clubs to make the top 8 for 8-10 years in a row and they all keep their coach for that time.Interesting that when a coach or his enablers are in the media ‘he’s coaching next year’ - it’s a given and we’d look like w***ers to sack him.
On the other hand when Houston says I’m staying……
