A fitness program takes time to have its effect. Did we not have a run of hamstring injuries under Burton which led to the phrase “hamstring awareness?”

I think you are looking at it the wrong way. Port have used this phrase as well. I suspect its an industry wide term we just dont get the press releases around interstate clubs. I suspect that term came within the fitness industry as part of recognizing hamstring issues before they become a real problem. But wasnt he head of football at that time and not the fitness man? Hass wasnt it.

And no hamstrings are an over use injury. it doesnt take two years to kill a hamstring. Its something excessive running and stretching could do in days and weeks. Not years. Old man hammies are the result of older players acting like their younger selves and the hamstring not coping. So either way, Hamstrings are not the result of long term training.

How?

They haven't made a draft selection since 2021.

They traded their 2022, 2023, 2024 picks and now the AFL gives them the green light to trade 2025.

Then at some point the AFL will randomly knock back a club from trading because "You haven't made 2 first round selections in 4 years".

It's laughable at this point how the AFL flip flops constantly on the rules, no doubt with GC being an AFL owned and operated club it's in their best interests to allow Port to trade their first for Luko, even if it goes against the rules, so they will allow it.

You can bet London to a brick that that if we were in Port's position and wanting to give Freo or WCE a 1st rounder in a trade that the AFL would be all over it and be telling us that we're breaking the trading rules would refuse to rubber stamp the trade.
They've picked 1st rounders in 2021 & 2020 but haven't broken the 2-in-4 rule yet ... only if/when they don't use a 1st rounder this coming draft that they would break that?

So I am guessing thats a NO on the 4th player? bugger I was hoping it was Harley Reid for our 4th. West Coast wanted to add experience so we were going to send them Laird, Murphy and Pick 4
That was some ******* telling porkies. Probably one of these basement-dwellers with no life on their alt-account.

My guess is because GC asked him to leave. So this warrants the permission. But its amateur hour stuff still from the AFL

And who else was?

Roo has been the decision maker on all our coaching appointments.

I suspect Roo did not see Nicks as a long term appointment. The focus on the time was getting a coach who could rebuild the playing culture thats why better assistant coaches were overlooked for the role. Nicks got his first extension as a reward for doing a good job and inching in the right direction. But I dont think Roo played much of a role in his latest extention. Everything about it is different with no comment from Roo. Which is odd.

it would be interesting if everyone posted their myer briggs and their starsign in their heading. might make it easier for everyone to get along....

My point was (which Scorpus avoided) that if Ricciuto is to blame for that, then so is back-to-back championship winner Phil Smyth and premiership winner, James Podsiadly.

Again. This finger-pointing at Roo has no direct evidence. Bah, humbug.

takes a piss and cracks another beer

Definitely. We just have a culture of scapegoating individuals that helps run a narrative. There is a long list of examples. I mean its a phenomenal effort really to be able to blame someone that isnt the coach for every problem our club has ever had in every era. Im just surprised Roo isnt blamed for Tippettgate. I did read somewhere that he was the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll, so if he is capable of that.....

It’s this board. These people have fetishes. They are society’s degenerates.

No. I have a fairly good idea and I think it was Peter Doherty who said he posts here

The Tragic himself said they are on here.

I said this,

One look at that account and it just reads like one of those weirdos on here who creates a new account every 6 months.

And some posts about the logo colours,

We're all viewing these on different screens, but these colours look really good to me.

That navy is darker than the one Nine had last night.

They tweeted this 😄

What’s that got to do with it?

You don’t need to prosecute a legal case to legitimately claim that an unelected board member’s position might be untenable.
I asked what he did wrong EXACTLY. I got nothing.

I suggest you stick to sexual amusing quips.

At the moment its Roo. But If I was to suspect our next candidate, its almost certainly going to be Kelly. A few have started to blame him for some of our issues. Although, Silvers and Olsen would be joint 2nd on the betting table with Burns making up 3rd position.

He is merely asking for evidence. We only know for certain Roo was involved with a few things. But they all happened a long time ago. No one has been able to provide any evidence of any wrong doing or bad job performance as a board member from the last two - three years.

It will always be someone because these people need a social life.

It’s almost as if people blame the people running the club for the poor performance of the club.
