We turned 1 pick into 2 and then used the 2 picks for Barrass and a swap of some steak knives and start next season with a first and second round pick in our cupboard.

We are about to take one very long and bold step into our premiership window, we need players to help facilitate our success when we get there.

Barrass is absolutely one of those.

Our backline was looking very good overall, especially with Battle coming in. But it still lacked a true gorilla. Or at least someone who could comfortably stand the gorilla forwards. We still would have been vulnerable in that area.

Now we’re not.
