Yep ....in fact all the small-medium sized players look to have bodies ready to play now ......preparation for getting Drafted is getting better year-on-year

the stat comparison surprised me. He could be every bit as good. So could it be that if he was in JHF year he would have been #1? I didnt see a lot of JHF play at south. So im not sure how good the comparisons are.

But it’s also draft night and let people be excited , he’s got a alot of development to go as a player but at least he has the Will to win , athletic traits and competitiveness

Max. It's amazing really, Max (if injury free) will be a 100-game play in his 4th season. Already played 45 and he has just turned 20.

Pedlar should be better than depth, but I'm concerned after last year.

Dowling I like, but he is slightly vanilla. Could easily get squeezed out by the other mids we've brought in.

Pedlar …. I think he’s going to be a forward mainly with some mid squirts

A 4 season player battling away in midfield at sanfl level this year , not sure that equates to being much more than a midfield pinch hitter

If he regains his form he’s a walk up start for the forward line though his 2023 was sensational

Yeah I think he’s moreso A grade rather than A+ (not as much of a forward threat as a JHF or Warner)

But provided development goes well, he should end up incredibly productive

He is a self confessed over trainer so thats something the club will need to work with him on so he does not cause himself further injury by pushing too hard

well at least we know he will never have a fitness question mark. I think he will be fine. If he is already fit now and training hard he will probably be AFL fit already. So his impact maybe greater round 1 than if he was coming from juniors or fringe sanfl.
