Much better than last week. FOS has probably played himself into a half back role with that second half performance, really liked him there.

The big question for me going into the season after what we’ve seen all summer, is how that back 6 is going to hold up. If it improves we can absolutely win more games. But based on what I’ve seen, I’m really concerned.

The 4 goal stretch and failing to hold on at the end are decent sized crosses against this performance. Quite a lot of good things today, but overall it feels like 'flashes of future brilliance' rather than 'corner turned'.

I enjoyed the game though. The accuracy shenanigans would have been hilarious if not for the bullshit ease at which we let West Coast score those goals.

He was ****ing shit.

Someone’s going to pay a boat load for an overrated bloke that does something special every now and then, but not much else.
He's barely had a pre season, been injury interrupted unfortunately. He'll get better as the season goes on imo.

Good game, dont melt too much it was a nothing game with nothing on the line.

Frustrating game. We really need to win something, I don’t care that it’s a praci game, it’s a mindset thing.

Zurharr I can’t even. Hasn’t shown an inkling of improvement for years. He should’ve been the easiest decision to let go in FA and reap the rewards of another high pick, but alas.

He may be a superstar, but not until he gets more professional.

Unfortunately for West Coast if he does go to that next level, you will probably be watching it in opposition colours.

Has a lot of FIGJAM about him with no runs on the board to back it up.

Would've been nice if even one of them described the error, for those of us missing the game.
Into the wind on about the only occasion we had the ability to move the ball fast, went through the middle of the ground. Larkey marked at half forward we had players free forward on the ball he could have kicked it anywhere and he directly turned it over.

He’s a senior player and it was awful.

Positives:

- midfield looked real good. X, LDU, Powell & Phillips all had a really good impact.

- Sheezel just continues to raise the bar. A freak in every sense of the word.

- FOS had some fantastic moments, really loved the moved to the half back in the second half, he really got involved and can actually defend.

- Daniel was so good. Class ball user, stuck some big tackles makes us look so much better, playing like he has a point to prove.

- RHJ found the ball, used it well and laid some solid tackles.

- Maintaining possession through big periods of the game was a real nice change.

Negatives

- Despite winning around the ground we just always found a way to lose. Getting a win would’ve given us some confidence going into round 1.

- We dominated between the arcs but our forward structure and backline really let us down. Our forward line looks clunky and there is never much space. We need to find a way to create more space.

- Our key backs are a shambles. Comben can’t be trusted ball in hand, Logue looks overweight and has seemingly lost his agility, Corr looks underdone and simply put, just shit.

Was pretty much in the centre of the ground and had to dink a ball over to Konstanty who was free on the outer wing. Hit the fat of the ball, it went straight to a WC player .... I lolled as he'd've given Konstanty a deadset bake were the roles reversed. Imo.
