You guys did ok. Just kicked badly at goal. And those celebrations was not because of the scoreline. More about Hunt kicking an arsey goal from the boundary and the second was Bakers first goal for the club, albeit a practice game.

I think both clubs got a lot out of it. As commentators were saying final few minute drill in real moment important.
Eagles did well to hold on when dominated for big chunks. Norths big let down was converting which will be better when not playing at an open venue with huge wind which we will only do afew times this year.

I was most impressed with our ability to stop the eagles run in the 2nd. Often in those moments that’s when teams open up games on us. This time it wasn’t that way

Were you all fairly happy with Darling? I thought he did quite well. Going to be a big plus this year for you. And he rarely misses shots at goal but didnt show that in the first quarter.

We’re just lucky they didn’t get it in more. Our defence is horrible. Inaccurate kicking should not be what we take out of this game.

A shit side scored against us with limited opportunities and with consistent ease. We have shit defensive players and no defensive structure. Even when we dominate in the middle we can’t even beat the second worst side.

I would suggest west coast have improved with their inclusions..

In the second Q our defence was cooked but it seemed to tighten up as the game went on.

Yes we lost to the wind that only counted when they kicked up that end.. not sure how you can lose to the wind when the sides change ends 3 times.
