It narrows team selections and points of difference as most people look to avoid bringing in the R0 players due to their double bye shenanigans. Not that the AFL cares about our little fantasy teams in the first place, the heartless campaigners. It is what it is. Supercoach is at least a little more different with some teams multiple byes. It's a good differential.

****en Jesus.Wildcard weekend is a terrible idea.
What is the obsession with copying everything from amurican sports?
AFLPA demands a minimum 5 days between games. That's only 4.Why can't the Bombers & Suns play each other twice in round 24. Maybe play the first game on Thursday night and the second game on Monday night. That way if they are going to play finals they still get almost 2 weeks off and the round could still be apart of Supercoach with both teams players having the ability to score twice in 1 round. It would spice up Supercoach Grand Finals![]()
Off topic, but hats off for the username. That's so well playedAFLPA demands a minimum 5 days between games. That's only 4.
Because the players association won't allow it.Geelongs bye moved from round 16 to round 14 and play Essendon in round 16 instead of round 14 is all it would have took to have Suns vs Essendon in round 14.
The AFL always chooses the worst possible option.
They said on the radio players need 4 days off in a row away from the club.Because the players association won't allow it.
Every player gets a mid year weekend off.
AFLPA demands a minimum 5 days between games. That's only 4.

I really don't think it matters .They said on the radio players need 4 days off in a row away from the club.
As fixture times are not set for Round 16 onwards it would have been easy to give Essendon and Gold Coast a 8, 9, 10 day break between certain rounds on the run home and include their 4 days off in a row.
Scoops setting the standard with an early season, pre-round one carnage melt.****en Jesus.
First this shit, then Drew Jones coming in off the top turnbuckle and pushing the barrow of the ****ing wildcard round off the back of it.
Scoops in shambles. Scoops in tatters. Scoops in ALL SORTS.
Let's make it a real spectacle and throw you in a cage with a bunch of lions that haven't eaten in a week, Drewdog.
Let's make it sizzle, campaigner. Give the people what they want, Drew. Drew just made the list.

Exactly, SC will just ignore it like they ignore round zero.I really don't think it matters .
The game wouldn't count towards sc either way.
Sic-dawg forward? Another trap going off too early.
The people who run the game have nothing to do with Supercoach.Lets hope it doesn’t, but you never know with this people who run the game
So no different to round 1 then.People in charge of the AFL are like politicians, they fail their way up to the top.
Imagine Gold Coast and Essendon cant make the finals then its a dead game.
A round 24 match with a crowd of 4,000.

And Sicily named on a wingDay named in the forward pocket![]()
My predictions for the final benches:
