Given that at least a couple of kids make their AFL debut every year, who do you think will be the most likely to do so?
And who do you think will be the first to do so?

None this year but if anyone does it will be hoffmann. It will be guys like clohesy and osullivan and knevitt/Clark impacting this year instead.

In order of most likely:

1. Lenny Hofmann
2. Olli Wiltshire

Maaaaybe Polkinghorne if we get an inury

I think Edwards is as good a chance as any to get a taste... and if Polkinghorn or Whiltshire look really good wouldn't be surprised if they do either against the Tigers or someone, we don't gift games.. but our coaches clearly have history in giving a promising kid a taste early on against a minnow as a reward and if it will benefit development (Dempsey in Tassie, COS last year.. always seems to be against North lol)

George Stevens is the one where I want to see him shoot the lights out, but historically, players named George with a lack of leg speed don't tend to do so well at AFL level.

Let's be fair, neither Wiltshire nor Edwards excelled at VFL level last year. It would take an injury crisis to get them into the AFL side - which probably won't happen for Wiltshire, but could conceivably happen for Edwards.

I never said they did excel, but they showed some serious glimpses for me, may be nothing.. they may hit the ground running and put themselves in with a chance is all i am saying

Fair enough. My only point is just that they're a long way off the standard as far as exposed form goes, that's all.

I agreed with every point you made here when you made it. Amazing how quick things can change

Anyone who picked Olly Wiltshire got the chocolates on this one in round 7, and George making his debut in round 17.

Probably only a chance that maybe we see Polkinghorne debut but I doubt we see anyone debut this late in the season.
Yeah I think the debuts are done for the year
