Well done OOBs i'm just delighted with the comprehensive and emphatic nature of the victory!

Truth be told we battered them and Cork did the same to Tipperary today to win their first national hurling league title since 1998! The game was already pretty much over at half time. Cork seem to be really developing a serious forward unit this year.

The league is only a pre season trophy so there's no point getting overly carried away, the serious business that is the championship starts in another two weeks.

Cork are being talked up as being all Ireland favourites this year while Tipperary are rebuilding after their worst season in decades in 2024.

So don't lose the faith in the Tipperary boys Robertio they could still turn the tables on Cork in the championship. They did very well to get as far as a league final, and i expect them to be a lot more competitive than today when the serious business starts.

Anyway thank you for being great company all week Gumbies. Commiserations on the defeat but hopefully we might see each other in the finals and perhaps we might finally beat you in a final as well!
