Actually it does matter whether it’s players vs club.

You paint Rioli as arrogant as some type of rebuttal to the way your players are perceived.
Yet it’s clearly a different situation that’s about the club, one that apparently you know a great deal more about than I do.

One that you will also state that Hawthorn are being unfairly treated about, apparently because you are so successful and everyone has “threepeat syndrome” or some crap like that.

If it’s about the players as well as the club, and Hawthorn truly wanted to act in a way that invites perceptions of arrogance, then own it, don’t cry about it like a vintage Mitchell press conference about “aggressive words to a young player by a much older person”.
