After the preseason loss to Melbourne, someone at club told me if we didn't learn to defend we'd finish last again. And here we are eight weeks later....so people inside club knew....all of which makes our draft moves lata year even more baffling.

Means they don’t care or respect any of our leaders at the club

As an off shoot, I didn’t stop at Wallan after the 2005 Tigers game but got drive through instead

It led to what became known as ‘Twistergate’

The Twister unravelled into my lap at the Wandong turn off all over my good pants

That’s the end of the story

Great day that one.
You cannot ever trust a twister.

Was it a zinger or regular?

Again yesterday’s game has just about broken me. Despite everything I’ve sat through over the last 6 years and almost 50 years of attending games week in week out. This morning woke up and felt flatter than I had the night before. The club is directionless. Players look as broken as our supporters feel and as clear as the night follows day there is zero trust amongst our players. Yesterday should have been a match that each player played like his life depended on it, a match where they were going to war alongside their brothers and that at all costs they played their ‘roles’ unwaveringly. On the biggest stage of the year for our club they let us down and I fear they don’t understand how badly they’ve hurt us, the club and our relevance within the AFL community.

Agree. For me it’s because we are getting lied too. The players don’t give a shit as we are weak and never have had high standards

6) Good Friday footy still a winner, despite an on-field fizzer

An 82-point blowout between North Melbourne and Carlton wasn't ideal for the primetime Good Friday slot. But despite the disappointing on-field spectacle, off the field the game couldn't have been more successful. The match drew a sellout crowd of more than 47,000 and raised $324,533 for The Royal Children's Hospital's Good Friday Appeal. From the joint banner, the guard of honour, the ambassadors and the hospital visits, this game means a lot to a lot of people. Carlton may have got the four points, but both sides walked away winners. - Phoebe McWilliams

Just had little gander myself…..you can bid on jumpers of players that didn’t even play in the game.

Are they worth more?

The lack of comment from the club does disappoint. How about an apology? How about an explanation why we are still the worst team in the AFL after so many years of top end recruiting? What the hell is happening? I suppose a comment from Sonya or Clarko would be ridiculed anyway..........

Pink, I thought, hadn’t put a foot wrong. Should feel somewhat aggrieved.
I felt that way when I had played every match of the season and my cricket team made the grand final and I was named as emergency.

The bastards were flogged. Absolutely hammered.

I felt much better after that but I moved out of town and never played for them again after that.

And I still feel quite good ;)

To make matters worse, in that game we were at full strength (except Wardlaw), but Melbourne had half their side out. And we got thumped! And then about a week later, our midfield gets thumped by WCE in Bunbury. You play the way you practice. The writing was on the wall back in March!

The good judges were all over it.

You're whinging about losing a practice match to Melbourne with half their side out when they are the only team we beat and we did it with their good players back in?

Is this some sort of dadaist satire on some of the shit that gets said in here or are you serious?
