How come we literally never have our small forwards there to crumb the ball? We bomb it long, and when it isn't intercepted it seems like our smalls are in the other pocket. Hard to tell with the camera always zoomed in on marking contests, but it's often 3 opposition defenders who scoop it up

We were the masters of locking the ball in the forward line....with the old rules.

The area after a kick seems to be very open.
