I think Konstanty should have changed direction and cut inside. It would have opened up the 50. Not sure if giving it to Stephens.would have ended well as he would have been on his right foot unless he could have sold the dummy or used Konstanty again. Just my thoughts.

Key difference though; Brisbane weren't bottom 2 for the previous 5 years before 2018. i.e they weren't as bad for as long as us.

We've had 5 years of not winning, poor performance, etc. They didn't have that handicap.

He’s not been great the last month.

First time I’ve seen him with genuine lack of confidence in his goal kicking.

Commentators are starting to pick up on his bad habits.

That running back into the goal square in the first qtr when the player kicked it straight to his opponent because Larkey made it at 80m kick was ridiculous.

He’s built some really bad habits playing in a poor side.

It’s probably been required to get on the score sheet, but he needs to be more team orientated. He needs to lead up at the ball. He needs to stop always trying to get in the back position for goals over the back

I somewhat agree however, the body language from big sooks like Harris Andrews sooking it up because his backline was barely standing up and Mortis having a cry at every opportunity certainly doesn’t suggest they didn’t give a shit.

To get top 4 positions on the ladder, Brisbane need to win half a dozen games away from home. If we werent so smashed with confidence, it would have been a belting.
