The ‘we didn’t care’ is the biggest detachment from reality.

You only "dominated" bcos we could barely bring ourselves to give a shit. Roos busting a gut, Brisbane in 2nd gear & still no win for North.
Check out his sig bears/lion hybrid. Clearly has no idea who Fitzroy is and is more likely an original bears member, which means age isn’t the issue, it’s something else, something darker and deeper that probably requires professional help. You've never played football before have you?
Either that or you're about 14 years old.
Yep.Another game where Larkey’s opponent scores votes.
Happy with a draw when expected score should have us winning by 28 points? They fluffed it again with poor decisions and stuffing up basic skills under no pressure.I'm happy with the result.

The Frank Thring voice ringing with irony. Dripping with sarcasm. Loud undertones of piss off you deluded bear supporting bullshit artist.
To be fair that bears guernsey is their best one

We were better and I am happy with that, the result not so much
Want to write my autobiography? The Frank Thring voice ringing with irony. Dripping with sarcasm. Loud undertones of piss off you deluded bear supporting bullshit artist.
I somewhat agree however, the body language from big sooks like Harris Andrews sooking it up because his backline was barely standing up and Mortis having a cry at every opportunity certainly doesn’t suggest they didn’t give a shit.
To get top 4 positions on the ladder, Brisbane need to win half a dozen games away from home. If we werent so smashed with confidence, it would have been a belting.
Anyway, Fitzroy Lions are dead and dont exist. Go brisbane
I think the lead was fine if you consider it as a dummy lead. He was pulling his defender out of the corridor. Konstanty just had to recognise that. If the handball had of gone to disco, he had options aplenty in the corridor.Konstanty will be the scapegoat but the lead from the full forward was terrible, again.
Did you watch the game? Also the best result for us would have been a mark inside 50. Kill the clock for 20-25 seconds and only need a point to win.
A goal still gives Brisbane a chance of a centre bounce clearance and goal.
A point makes it harder but still gives the ball back to Brisbane.
Thought LD cracked in, yes he isn't hitting game breaking form which we'd all love but i thought his attack and effort were there and he ended up with 32 and equal 3rd in clearances for the game.End of the day to have that result with Sheez, LSU, Larkey, Powell, FOS, Duurs, McKercher all being pretty bloody average or worse
We might finally be showing something
They got the sub choice 2000% wrong, Bailey is cooked, Fisher probably won us the game
Brisbane’s ball handling was exquisite, though, I thought. We really pressured them but their hand balling still held up. Early in the game, their kicking skills were pretty good too. However, our increased pressure put an end to that, culminating in them messing up a simple kick in their defensive 50 near the end. We really need to keep that pressure up on opposing defenders. Far too often, we seem to be prepared to give up an easy possession up towards the arc when we’re defending kick-ins. To me, that guarantees the opposition can kick to the edge of our defensive 50 - if they kick long. As much as possible, we should force the opposition to kick long from the goal square. From what I can see, that’s exactly what teams tend to do to us. We’re always complaining about how often we kick long from the goal square. There’s a reason for it - pressure…To be honest, I think their execution by foot around the ground under zero pressure was incredibly poor from a top notch A grade team. So I do think they were down, we definitely created intense pressure around them and we definitely should have won, but im in the camp we should have won by 5-6 goals.
Incredibly different to my pre game predictions.
In second gear apparently but Payne got coaches votes and had to make a game saving spoil to stop us from winning. You only "dominated" bcos we could barely bring ourselves to give a shit. Roos busting a gut, Brisbane in 2nd gear & still no win for North.

Xerri was all over McInerney in the last, we were smashing in the clearance, it goes to a centre it would've been more likely cleared by us.
Certainly no guarantees but we had the momentum, any score at the point it would've been hard for Brisbane win, a goal guarantees we couldn't lose. There is no guarantee that we would have gotten the clearance but a mark inside 50 pretty much guarantees a Brisbane loss and North win. It’s the only scenario that does.
By the way what happened before Rayner tied it up?
And how long went by between the bounce and the Rayner mark?

I don't care, the fact remains as a team, we are still losing games when we should win them. I am happy they played better, but I won't be happy that they fluffed another game, because of basic skill errors. What was the expected score and result before the game started?

Fitzroy's VAFA side aren't called the Lions, I believe they're not allowed to since the AFL owns the Fitzroy Lions branding (I could be wrong about this, it might be due to the Fitzroy Reds merger).Actually Fitzroy still exist but in the VAFA. And I'm assuming you thought I was from the roys side & this was your mediocre attempt to stick the boot inDo better. I believe in you.
And absolutely go Brissy!
It stings. Weird game.
Can people please stop blaming individual players for us not winning this game whether as sub or failing to kick the ball the right way in the last 30 seconds m, you can find 100 excuses but the main reason we didn’t win was the 9 shots on goal that missed!!!!!End of the day to have that result with Sheez, LSU, Larkey, Powell, FOS, Duurs, McKercher all being pretty bloody average or worse
