Give me Butters in a Geelong Jersey any day pleaseNot sure Butters is what we need. He's a small body. With Blicavs, Guthrie, Dangerfield and Duncan about to retire, we really need to set our sights on those bigger 6ft2 mids.
Clark, Clohesy and Atkins are also on the smaller side.

I'm not, watching at the ground MOC was so good I was shocked. I didn't think he had a game like that in him. I missed nearly the whole second half as I had to take the kids home but looking forward to that replay

The laughing heart emoji does not do this post justice. Well said KittyAn epic win by our Boyz!
I thought the players would dig very deep to honour Adam + the Selwood family.
An exquisite tribute.

It's amazing what a difference a well functioning forward line makes.
Unsurprisingly our defence held up better with Henry and Humphries back in. Zuthrie and MOC played rippers too.
27 clearances and 30 score involvements between Smith, Holmes, Atkins and Mannagh in midfield. Probably a million metres gained. Torched them.
Ken ain't the problem. He's been herculean carrying shit lists to finals.
Top 4 last year with Lord, Georgiades up forward and Ratugolea down back. Shit at both bookends.
I posted a while back that as soon as I saw him play, "tagger" immediately came to mind. He has pace to burn but hasn't developed his football smarts totally yet, so the role is perfect for him during his development stage. Let him run with a good opposition player and learn that way. Maybe one day he can be a pure midfielder if he keeps going in the way he has.Think we've found a role for Mullin - he's had a real impact playing as a tagger twice in the past 3 weeks
Lawson Humphries was a welcome return. Solid and clean
Smith for the Brownlow (Warehorse just beat me)
O'Connor was VERY solid. DE 96.4%
We stuffed O’Connor around for years with that midfield and tagging rubbish.
Great to see him back to his natural position at half back.
His best game for the club, congrats to him.

If he gets a feel for the game and more confidence could be a weapon. Hard to tell with these Irish boys.Yes he was good... Its consistency is what he needs to do..
The Dogs are really HOT right now. It seems most teams need a loss to get up the following week. At least both teams will have had big wins at this rate when we play them next week.I can't judge where we are at as the oppo had 2 on the bench in the 2nd half.
But I felt our defence was much better this week.
Better team effort to play field position and we will need that next week or the dogs mids will destroy us.
Danger is a big loss and no doubt they will rest him for at least 6 weeks now.
Duncan will be interesting I have no doubt they only wanted him playing 1/4 due to the 300th on Thursday. Can he back up on 5 days-would they make him sub in his 300th? If he can't then it's 300th in Perth which isn't ideal.
Definitely need Stewart back next week and we will have to consider what we do with the ruck options next week. Dogs will be a really tough opponent.
