Doesn't mean he read itYou quoted it

He may be captain but he is an injury-prone captain.
Mills is captain, bit hard for a fourth year player to push him to the bench.

Why do I have this sick feeling Harvey Langford will have an absolute monster game against us?
He’s actually not bad though.. it’ll be Kade/kyle Chandler insteadWhy do I have this sick feeling Harvey Langford will have an absolute monster game against us?
Why on earth are you comparing Paton to Sheldrick? Just because it suits your argument? They play two completely different positions.
Sheldrick played a full game in the middle last week for God's sake!!! He wasn't subbed, he didn't sit out the second half, he had reduced minutes FOR REASONS THAT NONE OF US ARE PRIVVY TO.
And how do you know that isn't exactly what Cox is planning? Up until last week's game, he'd shown zero worthiness of being given the block of games that you and many on here are crying out for so I don't understand the carry on.So that’s one game now give him 2-3 more in the middle. He was very good last week if after this block he’s not good enough that’s fine.
Heeney definitely an unwilling skipper but Rowie looked good to me. A pleasant surprise. Very calm. Not sure how much on-field leadership he provided. It'll be nice just to have our captain out there again, and kudos to Heeney & Rowy for taking the mantle on game day in Mills' absence. IMO neither are really captain material so it was big for them to step up and give it a crack.

All I'm saying is let's just wait and see the starting line up on Sunday before we get the pitchforks out and demand Cox's head
You just said it "IF he's not"If he’s not the uproar will be justified though. There’s been plenty of times we could have played him in a block not just this year. I don’t trust Cox to not just do what “apparently” worked last year despite being pretty awful in the last 10 weeks.
If he’s not in the inside mid first bounce Cox deserves some criticism especially if he’s answered is play a guy off half a game
FFS don't tell LukeParkerno1 !you are also aware that player A in the forward half can play back. Releasing player B that can play somewhere else enabling player C to play in the guts.
Current player A+b+C < proposed player changed positions making a better overall side.
Players are versatile.
You need to chill out brother. Hold it all in an let it out in the game day thread like the rest of us.If he’s not the uproar will be justified though. How about you wait and see before carrying on like a numpty about it?
Maybe you hang with the wrong crowd. Down at the bowlo....“Numpty”
chortle
Haven’t heard that term since the 80’s
Never ever put down other sitesYou've suggested multiple times now that others weather forecasts (which might be from better sources) are lesser than yours, as a local (which means nothing if you're not coming up with it yourself).
CapItAls ! and FfSFFS don't tell LukeParkerno1 !

It was a 'sending a message' sub selection last week, not a tactical one. We're a better team with Ollie starting in it. Cox took risk in the result in having him sub last week to keep him on his toes. Why does nobody seem to think Ollie will be sub again?
Can Hanily be brought in if he's not part of the announced team? I thought not? Though I agree having Mitchell and Bowman as emergencies is part of their development, being around the team at the MCG. Horse used to do it too.It was a 'sending a message' sub selection last week, not a tactical one. We're a better team with Ollie starting in it. Noticed Cox likes those subtle mental messages. He does it with his extended bench all the time even when he very well knows the player won't be playing. i.e Bowman and Mitchell this week, just to spark them up, especially for Bowman given Dattoli will be challenging him soon. Hanily is clearly the better current player out of those 3, but it also sends Hanily a message to say keep working. If the changes were forced, Cox would bring Hanily straight in, not Bowman or Mitchell.
I like it as a player development and mindset strategy, Cox is a smart man.
He wasn't even in the top dozen candidates for the leadership group last season, so to be stand-in captain twelve months later is impressive and suggests it's an area he's focused on being stronger in, which is good for him. I just haven't really loved his season so far, so I can't say that captaincy suits him when all I have to go on are the team's performances (average) and his individual performances (good but nowhere near his best.)Heeney definitely an unwilling skipper but Rowie looked good to me. A pleasant surprise. Very calm. Not sure how much on-field leadership he provided.
I meant if he had 4 outs instead of 3, it probably would've been Hanily in rather than placing one of Bowman or Mitchel on the team sheetCan Hanily be brought in if he's not part of the announced team?
