Hard to get a gauge on how good Marsh & Schubert have been playing because they are seemingly finding it all a bit easy in the first half.

Regardless both have shown some good forward craft, can’t say many other teams balkline’s have been a strength so far in trials.
Agree. Doesn’t seem to be a draft where there is much key defender talent. Outside of Lindsay and to a lesser extent Uwland (who I think will be a mid) there doesn’t seem to be much depth across half back either.

Of course but the best underage players (which he is in) usually get two full champs at it. There's plenty of underagers I'd be picking over some of the current year crop running around in the game atm

Taj Murray has been bloody impressive and some of Sam Cumming’s little body movements to get into space/release a teammate and his overhead prowess for his size have been superb.

By my reckoning that's close to 40% of the top 40 aligned to clubs through Academy/NGA/F/S unless their aligned club chooses not to match a bid.....what a joke.

Its definitely the most compromised this year. At this stage. But its early days. We have seen players come from the champs that nobody is talking about.
