Never heard a player say that in public

Wonder what th players are thinking today
Hopefully it stings enough for them to cause a reaction (not that back to back beltings shouldn't already) and that they put it in the back pocket for next time we play the crows.

No one in the team has enough guts to do anything

They’ve been mind****ed by the dismal Grand Final efforts. Hopefully a strong trading period will get us back, otherwise maybe a long road pain keeping faith with this current mob I feel

The comments by Milera are a god send TBH. The problems are clearly much deeper than what we think they are.
I don't think a huge amount can be done this season, but they need to get things in place to where they can long term.

…and maybe not letting those losses define them has meant there has been no accountability accepted for them. It got to be a painful recovery based on what we are seeing.

Milera is one of the softest spoken, and nicest guys you will come across.
I think he just pulled the wrong word out at the wrong time.
When you are put on the spot, and you arnt an experienced public speaker, you can get your words around.
I think he was probably trying to say that he thought they were a bit unorganised or not sure what to do with the pressure the Crows were putting on.

This isn't a comment on Sydney the club, but at that particular time.
It's not out of all possibilities that a team with alot of inexperienced players covering the loss of 7 or so first 22, might not be as disciplined in the game plan as the others might be.

For what it's worth, Sydney will be fine.
They are coming off the grand final blues, have a heap of injuries, and confidence is a bit low.
They have plenty of talent, and some good academy kids this year, so I expect them to regroup and rebound next year.

I don't disagree with you and honestly I'm glad he said it, it might actually give the players the kick up the arse they need. If it doesn't, nothing else will imo.

Paul Roos on ABC radio a moment ago.

Key points:

1. The team hasn’t yet found their brand under Dean Cox.

2. Errol is the Swans most important player.

3. He was getting frustrated texts from ex-Swans players all evening

4. There are only a couple of teams in the AFL that can cover the loss of a few stars (he mentioned Collingwood and Brisbane). Sydney don’t have the depth.

5. Sampi wasn’t held.
