I wouldn't pay much attention to that poster. If you look at their history it's pretty inconsistent. If we've offered him $1.3M we're idiots.

CorrectThe one we have to handover to Haw?
Our offer is well under 1.3M.
If he is prepared to shell out 1.3M for TDK he is dumber than I thought. Not what Austin told corporates at a breakfast on Thursday. I was previously told it was $900k and team friendly. Austin told the group $1.3m. Also went through who he sees in the draft top 40. Rates Dean best defender and our other guys are late pick / rookie but believes they can play

It aint when youre trying to satisfy SOS amongst others and considering players have signed and stayed for less. If Dekoning is worth 1.3M in any salary cap Ill go he.Cap goes up. $1.3m is the new $1m
You have absolutely no evidence whatsoever to make that claim. You don't know that... it very well could...

None.
Not really the point I was going for, more that, the sun comes up the next day and the new season comes around fast and things move on.No salary cap to worry about, so can go and buy anyone they can afford
Thank **** for thatOur offer is well under 1.3M.
TDK has our best offer of $1.3m and has had for four months. He has not accepted or rejected. Internal feeling is he is gone. Club won't be going higher. Club really rates Peter Dean's son as the best defender in the draft. The view is we may go a few steps backwards to go 5 steps forward and the core of our next flag is on the list already

Posters here are consistently inconsistent, historically.I wouldn't pay much attention to that poster. If you look at their history it's pretty inconsistent.
1.3M is off the mark. Closer to 1.1M but tapers off slightly each year over the 7 years.
If Austin is talking contracts and drafting at a breakfast and giving out information, he should be sacked.
No buddy the only nonsense on this thread is you wanting to tank for picks 1 and 2Nonsense.
Don't believe for a minute Austin would put that information into the public domain, it would not happen. Not what Austin told corporates at a breakfast on Thursday. It would be pretty easy to validate, whoever was there would be able to say categorically if he did or didn't.Don't believe for a minute Austin would put that information into the public domain, it would not happen.
Where he specifies player contract offers? It is a club endorsed function for corporate supporters. Happens every year.
We haven't been too far off the pace in most of out games so far. In previous years we've had multiple players in AA squad.
So far this year we have no one even close. I think, this is having an effect.
Our best players are well off the pace. When they are up and running, it makes life easier on the lesser lights. Letting them operate under a bit less pressure. We have multiple role players out, especially our hhf, link players. No wonder we are falling down at the last hurdle, when getting the ball to a target inside f50.
it doesn't look good right now but it's going to turn.
Doubt he would have a job if he was detailing players remuneration would not happen. It would be pretty easy to validate, whoever was there would be able to say categorically if he did or didn't.
Walsh is going nowhere
