That's an interesting observation. I thought Kamala's rallies were terrific, full of vim and vigour/flavour.

I also thought that once Taylor Swift endorsed the Dems, and hundreds of thousands of (presumably young) people enrolled to vote, that Kamala had a good chance of winning.

Was it just because she didn't go on Josh Rogan's show that she seemed so dull?

People are way more cynical about celebrity “endorsements” , especially since it’s come out that they were paid millions.

She wasn’t rejected because she was female. She had no policies, or vision. She answered questions with word salads. She stated there was nothing she would have done differently to Biden. That didn’t go down well with voters.

It’s a bad reason to elect someone based solely on gender, race, or any other characteristic.

I mean come on, it wasn't a lack of policies or vision, it wasn't word salads (because they both did that - largely Donald's were substantially worse as well).

Similarly though, saying it was because of gender or race is equally lazy reasoning.

They lost because of incumbency in a period of very high inflation. The hip pocket of the electorate has a long memory...

Democrats need to seriously learn how to use social media effectively next election, at the end of the day as sad as it is to say, policy isn't enough to win elections anymore, you need to have a level of flavour to your campaign and the Democrats were as dull as dishwater, so bland in every way possible.

They need to stop being so safe and risk averse too, take ****ing risks.

The demcrats had minor nothing policies mostly. No strong vision to improve the future. Mostly tinkering around the edges which no one cared for.
