Moir doesn’t have the tank to run out a senior game, let alone 8 in a row…

It does, but at the same time most of our players who get dropped back to the 2s have an impact at that level, at least sporadically have big games, if not consistently.

Selection integrity with a focus to youth would be looking at Ben Camporeale, perhaps Wilson, or returning Boyd to the frame (although he’s not quite as young).

Moir has moments, but can’t do it consistently yet, and he definitely doesn’t do anywhere near enough defensively.

We played Hudson in the VFL for 50 games. He's actually looking really good now. Just needs the chance to cement himself as the #2 ruck for us. There shouldn't be any pressure on Moir to start playing like a god. The guy who he's going to be replacing (Williams) still has a year or two left in him if we can keep him fit.

I don't believe for a second the numbers being spouted for St Kilda's offer to TDK are anywhere near accurate. It'll be heavily incentive based for sure as well.

There's only 2 scenarios I see if TDK does not re-sign -

We match and TDK stays, and is happy to do so.

We match, on the proviso that TDK and his manager are onboard with forcing St Kilda to pay up with draft picks or third club involved players.

Most of the best RFAs last year didn't re-sign until July and August so not surprised nothing has happened yet.

Sam is a gun, no denying that. Would cost a fortune to get before being a FA. With HOF and Dean to come, key backs seems the least of our concerns. Yes a few years away from being top notch but I think we are in good hands down back.

Need to change our midfield dynamic and forward line is what I hope we focus on

TDK is no superstar. St Kilda are praying he can be their Luke Jackson type player paired with Marshall, but TDK rarely does anything forward and has never kicked double digit goals ever.

Looks like they’ll have lots of $$ to use next season. Apparently the contract will be front loaded and on over 2 million next year

I agree. No ruckman is worth that much especially one that has been beaten quite a few times by so called lesser ruckman. If he was going forward and kicking 2/3 goals a game and killing it in clearances and around the ground work consistently then it would be looking over the million mark. He struggles against ruckman who take his leap away. I think we only have to look at Brodie Grundy as case in point. 1.7mill is an upgrade of 2 handy players in other positions around the ground and we need that before spending stupid money on rucks.

Not willing to share anything further on Harry than what I have posted back then. I haven't heard anything further since I posted that.

Source has heard nothing further on AFL Integrity. Note it was a complaint, not an investigation, so might not have had any legs or substance to it.

i think it's reasonable to park this one guys noting that sometimes these things move very slowly and have no transparency to the public.

If and when more comes of it we can revisit.

In a private chat on Messenger with one bloke an insider at the club. He actually doesn't give us heaps but did call out Harry going for surgery well before it came out and today told us his mail was Voss is gone at the end of the year, and TDK is a 50/50, the Wright influence.

Just passing it on.
