It is the US and Israel which have been constantly attacking Iran.
Ever since 1979, when the Iranian people overthrew their stooge the Shah, the US has conspired, along with its Israeli proxy, to eliminate Iran.

In the late 80's as the US prepared to launch an intervention into the Middle East, the US government hadn't decided whether Iran or Iraq would be the target. During the Iraq-Iran war, the US was arming Saddam Hussein in an effort to debilitate and overthrow the Iranian government.

Only later, when an opportunity arose to trick Saddam Hussein into invading Kuwait and presenting that as a "casus belli" did the US administration decide that Iraq would be the immediate target.

Israel, acting as the US attack dog in the Middle east has assassinated Iranian scientists, the US under Trump 1 assassinated a leading Iranian general, the US and Israel have introduced computer viruses into Iranian nuclear facilities to sabotage them.

The US under trump withdrew from nuclear negotiations with Iran under Trump 1 and together with its NATO allies imposed crippling economic sanctions on Iran, which have caused untold suffering for the Iranian people.

This is despite the fact that Iran has allowed international atomic agencies open access to check what it was doing in its nuclear research institutions.

It is an open secret that Israel has illegally acquired nuclear weapons.

Anyone who tries to portary Iran as the threat in the Middle East is either totally blinded by propaganda or is openly working on behalf of imperialism to spread its lies and justification for the unfolding catastrophe in the Middle East.

Totally. It takes a 5 second look at history to see who’s been the aggressor in the ME for decades now, and it ain’t Iran.

This is basically what I think is happening:

1. Bibi boxed Trump in: By launching a preemptive strike on Iran and telling Trump that Israel could handle it alone, Bibi forced the US into a corner. He knew Israel could not finish the job by itself, but once the attack began, Trump was faced with a choice: either abandon Israel and risk backlash from powerful donors and Israel hawks in his administration and party, or step in to help finish what Bibi started.

2. Trump’s response was face saving: To avoid further escalation and political fallout, Trump approved limited strikes on key Iranian facilities. But let us be honest — those sites are deep underground, and the strikes likely did not cause serious or lasting damage. This was more about optics than strategy.


3. Quiet coordination with Iran: After the strikes, the US reportedly told Iran ( see below) that this was a one off, signalling a clear desire to de-escalate. It was a move to save face without getting dragged into a full scale war.


4. Iran’s next move: While Iran likely will not escalate immediately, the real shift is internal. Up until now, Iran had the knowledge to build a nuclear bomb, but not necessarily the political will. After this, that restraint may be gone. I would not be surprised if, in the next two to four years, we see Iran demonstrate or test its nuclear capability, quietly but clearly.

I watched a breakdown recently on bunker buster bombs (see below) — the Chinese ran extensive tests, especially on mountainous terrain. They’re far less effective than most assume. The underground blast radius is tiny, often under 10x5 metres, and that’s only if you hit the exact spot. Rock deflection further limits their power.

Now consider who China’s close ally is...Iran. You can bet this intel has already been shared to help them design fortified underground nuclear sites.
