Nick Foot and his Mate Nathan Williamson they both hate the club
Each team that makes finals should get the choice of one umpire veto for the duration of finals.
It's clear some umpires have trouble being impartial, each club would have a fair idea which one crucifies them each time.

I breathe a sigh of relief when those two are not umpiring our games

You were calling for Bramble to be taken off at half time ?
McNeil “ was genuinely impressive after half time “ ?
WOW !

Not sure any in our coaching box were on the same page as you Mantis my friend.
Thank god !

Were you smoking your evening meal ?
Lol. Think I’ve had a shocker with that McNeil call. Genuinely inexplicable.

Bramble had a sensational 3rd quarter but up until that point he played to his usual standard which has had many people questioning his place. I wasn’t saying he should be subbed at halftime.

I'm glad someone brought this up.

Wtf did he do wrong? That umpire hates us.

didnt move back on the allocated mark fast enough. that was the reasoning from the ump

Interesting stats from last night

The Bulldogs scored 4.1 to 1.1 from 15-12 center bounce clearances. Tim English recorded four center bounce clearances and three goal assists. The Bulldogs were also more accurate from set shots, scoring 8.5 to 4.10 from this shot type, including 7.4 to 4.9 from beyond 30 meters.

The Swans scored 7.1 from forward 50 chains - their highest score from this source this season. This includes 5.0 from forward 50 stoppages to the Bulldogs' 1.0.

It's such a stupid rule and needs to go

it seemed like the Ump didnt even allow Darcy time to get back on the mark. Allegedly there was a lot of crowd noise at the SCG last night and players from both teams had issues hearing the whistle

Most of Tim’s were from Grundy being stupid giving away CB free kicks

The worry was the ease they scored from stoppage inside 50

Our inability to get hold of ground balls and then clear congestion out of D50 is the thing that at some point will kill this season stone dead if we cannot find a solution to it.

This issue was compounded by the number of times the Swans orchestrated set plays, or we switched off defensively and they then proceeded to kick goals out of their arses.

He's tracking just like Sanders did in his first games. Both had a propensity to handball instead of kick. He went at 9:1 tonight.

I suspect that as he gains experience and a feel for the speed of the game that it will swing back the other way.

What I did like was his intensity at the contest which proved crucial when all players began to run out of gas late in the last.

He's got it.
He's got a really nice little fend as part of his skill. Long arms and a man's fend, right to the center of the chest. Totally shuts down his direct opponent.
Chuck on 5-10 kegs and he'll ne hard as a cats head in the guts ✊

So impressed with Davidson. Everywhere across the ground and is standing up in tackles.
You're right. I generally only see him on TV, but got to the Richmond game and was amazed how much he was in the play or close by. He is a very good wingman because he holds his width and his running / movemnet up and back is top class. A very impressive 1st year player ... and very unassuming. The Dogs 'no dickheads' policy in action!

You're absolutely right and I think this is what makes the victory so pleasing.

Seeing them try so desperate to beat us, kicking goals out of their ass, trying to rough up Darce and Lobb AND they even had the umpires on their side and still couldn't beat us.

Go home, Sydney. I hope the door hits you on the ass on the way out.
they were so desperate for the W in addition to the points made above they sent a spud to whack Bramble off the ball in a attempt to slow his domination of them. Knowing of course that said spud will be suspended for a week or two. Wonder who organised that off ball hit🤔
It was high stakes for both teams but one team went old school only to lose again in front of there miserable supporters.

For a double bonus, we took Davo from right under the noses of the tiggers.
How did they not draft him?

Special commentary for 7. He was actually really flattering towards Bont and the dogs. Maybe he’s matured or has to lie for a gig in media lol
I think the on and off field personas of a lot of players are very different. Perceptions by fans also.

Don’t want to be negative after a win, but man, these umpires. That 50 against Darc is just not acceptable. I don’t care if it’s one mistake, that is so far from acceptable it isn’t funny.

Could’ve cost us a win tonight.
The umpires we probably too trigger happy with the calls.
they knew all game, that the Swans sooks were alway going to cry about the free kick count.
My negative was the ground condition, how no one did an ACL is beyond me. The grass was like unlaid carpet.

In Jay Clarke's interview with Bevo earlier this year Bevo spoke of the computer program he just developed and patented to assess player's "impact per minute" (I think?).

Sam Davidson would be up high on the metrics each game I think. He's involved in just about every play.

Naughton had good night. He broke his propensity of running himself under the ball. Perhaps the poor footing helped. I suggest that from now on he should drop to one knee before leading up to a kick.
Mate I think you solved the mystery....a few BF posters who see him live at games, thought the delivery into 50 burnt him.

You're 100%. Astro is exploding at the lead too fast, and running himself under the ball.
Email to the higher up, astro to drop to 1 knee on the lead👍👍
