I tipped us to lose by 70 so to be in it for a lot of the game was something.

Dogs looked a bit shaky early, and were off their best. The fact you challenged them - whereas Port, Essendon etc would lay down - shows something.

North had a crack tonight but the Dogs and the umpires were too good in the end.

The commentators talk about the gap between the top 9 teams and the bottom 9 teams but part of that gap is due to umpiring.

They always favour the top teams against the bottom teams, it happened with St Kilda recently against the Pies and the Dockers.

Oh bullshit. Not tonight. Missing key players and left with a particularly young team. LDU being subbed out massive loss. I think these young guys have shown fight tonight and ffs some of these umpiring decisions tonight have left a lot to be desired - full on head shake material.

I saw nothing different tonight than most North games, regardless of ins and outs. They have a crack for 2 1/2 qtrs then let the game go when it gets a bit hard. When is the team going to toughen up and start playing 4 qtrs? Your leadership is not strong enough and isn't setting the example to follow.

The umpires were all round awful tonight and North got their share in the first 1/2.

My favourite moment of this game was the front-on contact to Zurhaar not being paid, costing North a goal. My second favourite was that throw in the centre right in front of the ump not being paid, leading to a North goal.
