Have to see if any injuries or suspensions coming but early thinking, and its going to be controversial:

Out: Champion, Cripps, Cole, Long, Jack Williams
In: Ryan, Gross, Allan, Archer Reid, Sandleford Brock

Defence and forward structures were a nightmare today I felt.

Reality is there was 1 kick separating Jack Williams and Bailey, Jack played a marginally better game but he also had the luxury once he came in for Graham of taking minutes forward off Bailey and Jobe and I'm not yet a believer in Jack's workrate as a forward, its a stagnant set up up there these days leading patterns feel like a thing of the past.

Didn't care for the Cole inclusion or the Brock omission. Go back the Edwards and Brock in the key posts and see how Bazzo goes as the third tall. Get Baker back down there and play Ginbey on a small.

I think Crippa's body language after the siren said it all, dirty day to cap off a pretty ordinary 5 weeks in which he's kicked 2 goals. Not sure you can get around yourself in the media rallying support for an extension and then dish that up. Give him a rest for a couple weeks in the 2's then bring him back as a sub and figure out a game for a send off, reckon he could find a bit of form that way as he's clearly putting too much pressure on himself, loosen up campaigner. Move Dewar up the ground to work with Ryan and Brockman, give Owies his turn as the talentless chaser and tackler man.

Gotta do something with Gross, can't be dropping him back to WAFL after taking him over as an emergency like that. Richmond are a younger side than us if Gross is too young to run out a full game well the other side has the same problem so just wear it, everyone can be tired out there together.

F: Ryan, B Williams, Owees
HF: Brockman, Shannahan, Ryan
C: Duggan, Hall, Dewar
HB: Baker, Brock, Bazzo
B: Ginbey, Edwards, McCarthy
Fol: Flynn, H Reid, Hewett
Int: A Reid, Gross, Maric, Allan
Sub: Hutchinson

Drop somebody that can kick a goal for somebdoy who can't hit the side of a barn and hasn't kicked a Afl goal for how
long.Tell him he's dreaming.

Kelly in is not the answer. Kelly into the middle is DEFINITELY not the answer.

OUT: Long
IN: Ryan

Richmond aren't as good as Port and we should be able to beat Richmond with the team we had tonight. I'd love to see Owies go out for Ryan but I think a senior body for a junior body is more likely given the late-game fatigue. Champion to stay in but as sub - give the kid another taste.

Baker stays forward. Bazzo gets another run. I'd prefer to see Allan back but he was dropped for a reason so I'm not sure why we'd bring him straight back in.

Jack Williams should be in the team but he also needs to stay involved more, he has a habit of going missing for long periods. The talls tonight really failed to compete In the 2nd half… but for mine it’s Bailey that needs to gtfo, he has played enough games, there is no excuse to be so uncompetitive against a middling talent such as BZT.

Kelly needs to stay away from this team for the remainder of the season. He can join Oscar in secret coffees.

We need more pace and I'm actually tempted to bring Petch in for Owies too.

Out: slow mid sized flankers (Duggan, Cripps, Cole, Owies etc)

In: anyone with composure and clean hands

We have to have the worst smalls in the league by a fair margin

IN : Ryan, Brock, Allan
OUT: B.Williams, Bazzo, Hutchinson

Bo to the wing . Shorten forward line up a bit. Tell Flynn to ruck by himself or piss off
I feel like Ryan and Baker would be awesome in the forward line if Bo could come into his own down back.

Some harsh takes on hutch. One of the few who kept pressure on port ball carriers from start to finish.

Agree his kicking needs work but he did a lot of positive stuff whilst some of his teammates remained invisible in the 2nd half.
Yeah, probably his best game this year. Tackled well etc. I've probably been his biggest critic this season but he was far from the worst today.

Cripps has been outright poor. We all understand he's lobbying for an extension but he's really on his last legs. This season should be it for cripps. H
Cripps tries his guts out. Owies and Long both go before he does, which is saying something given Cripps should be the first one out.

A part of me just wants Hutchinson to go back to HF and give him a go at his natural spot again. He is not a midfielder....
In that case Dewar takes the wing back, and we need a half back to come in. Allan probably comes in to play that hbf spot vacated by Dewar

Means we have to keep Cole and Duggan in our back 7, I dont think we should move Hutch right now unfortunately

Bailey is 4 years older, and played twice as many games as Jack.

One has a future, the other peaked two years ago.
Jw and Jobe both got matched up on their best defender and both held their own. Zerk thatcher is good but he was playing prime mcgovern on bailey. Bailey is a bigger man and was physically a traffic cone
