Works for me.

I’m really trying to temper my expectations, but far out....

Another season, another wave of season ending injuries. It raises fair questions about our medical and conditioning staff. Meanwhile, blokes who’ve been on the list for years either aren’t developing or are flat out regressing. 2025 is done and dusted.

What’s killing me is, quite honestly, the coaching. I just don’t get what Brad Scott is trying to implement.
The footy is passive, reactive, and honestly hard to watch. No identity. No cohesion. No sense of growth. I keep asking 'what exactly are we trying to teach on game day?' Round 9 sums it up really well for me. First half, we smashed Sydney. Played with purpose and looked exciting. For a second, I was up and about thinking, “maybe there’s something here.”
Then the second half happened… and I started questioning everything I love about this club. It was putrid. I thought that was rock bottom. Then came Rounds 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18. JFC I was so wrong.

We’ll probably limp to 15th. Might finish lower. In some twisted way, we should be grateful there are at least three worse teams than us, though even that feels like it’s narrowing. In the current form we'd lost to North & West Coast as well.

I kind of want to forget everything about the 2025 season.

Until we refine the list and bring in a few players who can actually read the play up the ground and kick the ball accordingly then trying to see what game plan they are trying to implement will be pretty much impossible.
Right now it is the try and not give the opposition the ball back so much game plan.

Carlton’s game plan has fallen apart for the same reason. Poor execution.

Our reality is the players we drafted from 2016 to 2022 have basically not made it as a collective group. Add to that a few trades and free agents have not driven the success we wanted either.

We are back in the rebuild zone. I am not expecting anything next year either.

Switchero the foward and backline.
McGrath owes us 10,000 goals. Could be the next G-Train

GWS by 120, Hogan 13, Stringer 6, I wont even mention who our next 2 injuries will be.
On the positive side, we have approx. a third of a tank left to get us home.

dont think perkins deserves to be recalled but i think brad will be scared of a massacre and bring in a lot of our more experienced players, i imagine guelf and sheil will certainly play

We're gonna need midfield soldiers so hope Shiel plays. eth-dog wants him to get to 100 games (needs to play all 7 for father son eligibility)

They're resting him.

I don't think there's any way around that one of Perkins, Gresham or Guelfi come in.

Shiel for Setterfield
Vigo for Goldy
McMahon for Caddy
SEH for Martin
P/G/G for Hobbs

Was Gresham not playing to be rested or because of injury? And was Guelfi on managed minutes or just not anywhere near the ball.

Just going off the stats it looks like Shiel, McMahon, Perkins, SEH, Menzie were all ok?

Not a lot of ball up there. Shiel, McMahon, SEH, Menzie, Nguyen and ADJ our best IMO

Forget GWS like I said on Saturday. If any team we face in the last 7 weeks doesn't beat us by 200. They should fold.

We have gone from 'play the kids' to 'play anyone with a pulse' at this point.

Gresham likely would have been carry over player in case of injury pre game.
