He's a first-year key forward he's not gonna dominate from day one - any footy fan understands that

Then add on the homesickness. Some kids just can't handle it

His team is also 4-8 W/L. Hard to do well in a poor team

He's also super skinny so was pretty much always a project player - hence why he slid in the draft

Bring him home and put him in an environment where he can thrive

Steve Smith is meant to be one of those intense characters that's only interest is cricket and has no other hobbies or topics. Just complete focus but some find him off putting and a bit unusual.

Surely Saints give a very good offer for the first 2 years ( which is what the manager asked for), not 2mill a year, and then blows the SA clubs out the water for the next, longer contract if NAS decides to stay on?

The issue with the steak knives suggestions for this trade is they don’t discount anything they have to give so then why do it?

To me based on what they have Bergman and 26 first OR Berry and both future firsts is the BARE minimum.

If they wanna throw Whitlock in with either of those offers that’s fine but Whitlock or some other steak knives shit doesn’t get anything off those and we’re not gonna add anything in.

And I say that expecting most saints supporters will tell me to **** off with my minimums.

No one's jumping to conclusions, just discussing the hypotheticals of how Whitlock would be involved in a NWM trade

But it won't happen because NWM isn't leaving this year

I don't buy the idea that Bergman is off limits because he signed a contract a few weeks ago. He was looking to come back to Victoria, then all of a sudden he signs a contract with Port, while Port are well aware NWM could be an option?
