People will go to any length to deflect from their team's losses. Sometimes the team you play is just better on the day - 5 times for Geelong so far.

No deflection, just how I see it. Going to be a good finals series.

Maybe unlike some other years, Health will be the decider this year.

Plenty of sides in the window, but how healthy they are in Sept will likely decide the flag.

Given Adelaide's history when finishing on top and their recent record against Geelong... im not sure the above ladder is a good thing for the Crows

Adelaide will probably start favourite for every match to come, and if they win them all they’ll likely finish first. That would involve beating Collingwood at home which would drag them down. Brisbane could finish on top but they have a murderous last five matches.

That said, favourites don’t always win.

Not the worst result. Hopefully get a soft draw like Carlton this year and attack next year with a fingers crossed healthy list.

Pies are managing their squad beautifully, getting plenty of games into depth players (Sullivan, Allen, WHE, Cox, etc.) whilst ensuring their key players will be ready to go come finals.

With the Pies record interstate, anywhere in the top 4 and they will be ready to attack the finals with vigour!

Can't wait for Crows Pies at AO. Adelaide need to make a statement and just win if serious. Don't think they're too worried about ladder position, whether 1st or 4th, if they're good enough they'll do it.

They dropped a few late in 2023 too, and are resting a few, so I don't think that'll happen.

The race is wide open though, with 3 sides who are a genuine chance.
