Reading all the articles about how West Coast should not accept Reid’s demands makes me wonder what Mackie and co think of it all.

Davies 18 touches to half time against good opposition. Clearly something to work with
Suns have such a stacked list someone will grab him for nothing. provided great protection for Rowell as wellMaybe they want that #7 they gave us back for him.

There would be a couple at both qld clubs and they will need points. I think todays Davies might be a little bit OTT to what we might get , I suspect Bris were fairly Rowell focused but that shows he can play.I wish they would keep him in the 2s would make him a cheaper trade.
With Patterson and addinsall coming plus Lombard I think Davies is gettable.

Like I said, poison pill west coast are too smart to take but enough bait for fans to keep heat off himReading all the articles about how West Coast should not accept Reid’s demands makes me wonder what Mackie and co think of it all.
Exactly. Sign him for 2 years and hope he picks up the player option thereafter. Otherwise, they’ve locked him up for 2 years and can fill their cap space, then if he chooses to leave, have a war chest in two yearsOf course I want Reid, but I can't see him even moving till his contract is finished
Wce will accept his demands at least for 2 years because they can barely reach 95 % of the cap anyway. If I'm him I sign for 2 and get out in 2028.
He also has really nice attack on the footy weather it is in the air or on the ground so yes hide himMellor a few really nice flashes in the VFL so far...
A great mark and goal from the boundary 45m out.... drop punt in the wet right thru.
Hide him
GO Catters
My thoughts, Reid will sign with Eagles for 2 at 1.8m+. They will cave in and give him a player option thereafter, for whatever years he wants.
From there, they know the writing is on the wall that he’ll likely not take the player option and look to seek a trade. However, it locks him into the club, who would be highly likely to not be paying anywhere near their cap.
I suspect whilst we may well have a lot of irons in the fire, we’ll be very quiet this trade period. We are seemingly salary rich, but not trade capital.
If that's the contract they won't be able to move him
I'm not even kidding, he's the best player in the comp right nowNWM
Come down the highway to Geelong.. you will fit in very nicely
No they will give him 2 years at 2mil to 2028 then he will turn down the trigger extension and move in 2028 as an OOC so they won't need to move any contract with him.
That player option would set the floor of any contract negotiations with other clubs.
Hard pass on Clayton Oliver now unless they attach a pick to him.
I can see why you would think that... Gee I hope the rumours that we are into him are seriously come aliveI'm not even kidding, he's the best player in the comp right now
