I apologise for making you feel victimised.
You're whinge is entirely justified :thumbsu:

being victimized is the perpetual state of the toxic left..no surprise you confused me with your fragile mental state

Its insane that it will probably take 15-16 wins to finish eighth this season when usually on average in most years 12 wins gets you in. The team that will finishes ninth will probably finish with 14 or 15 wins which will make them the most unluckiest team in history. Just shows the gulf between the top 9 and the bottom 9, feels like we have two divisions atm.

I can't really remember a bad season, maybe 1968 was a stinker, or 1979 if I reach a bit. Otherwise, the best footy games each week have been marvellous this year. The skills and athletic feats are these days ABSOLUTELY incredible. The very top teams have played some breathtaking footy. And some lower ones have provided moments too.

Coaching is through the ceiling. And is getting better. The strategies and lateral thinking keep fans on their toes. The coach match ups I find pretty interesting as well. Tactics are evolving like a viral epidemic.

The main problems are:
- the authorities. In all walk of life they are corrupt, and the AFL is no exception. It's a miracle despite the despots, the footy is so good.
-umpiring, I'm not one to normally have a go at the white rabbits, it's not their fault the Deridean post modern rules interpretations are murky and open to interpretation. And all interpretations are valid!
-the fans, or a portion of them, who are clueless about how good the footy is, and monofocus on the poor games, and take for granted the good games, like typical spoilt nepo supporters.

Depends how you define whether a whole season is good or not.

The top 9 is very strong this year, which is good on it's own but we rarely see such a clear distinction between the two halves of the league.

All the dead rubber games wouldn't matter so much if the scheduling of prime time slots wasn't such a disaster.

I expect we'll get an exciting and quality finals series though.

Exciting finish to the home and away regardless people complain too much
100% - the top 9 fighting for 8
and withing that pretty much every spot within the 8 up for grabs
its amazing

Remember how everyone wanted wildcards for this year with how the top 9 is clear and we would get a fight for 10th with all these mediocre sides.?

Imagine if we listened to those people? It would be even more boring with Sydney locking in 10th a fair way out and there not being a mad scramble for 8th.
Would’ve been so boring. I’m loving the scrap for 8th.

Shocking season.

Draw is terrible, should have a single bye round after all teams have played once and lock in the double ups based on ladder position at that point.

The fixturing, umpiring etc is as bad as ever, but that's not specific to this year, but as a spectacle the finals race certainly isn't boring. Would you rather one obvious front runner?

Sometimes though I feel there are almost too many upsets. I'm looking at you, Brisbane.

I’d go one more and lock in the draft at that point. Give teams no incentive at all to lose at the end of the season.

This could be achieved without a single discrete bye round - just arrange the byes so that after 18 rounds every team has played every other team and had their bye.

Couldn’t agree more with this, the idea of 10th competing is laughable.
