I’d try to get Silvagni ahead of Lever. If they reckon he’s getting offers of 600-650k offer 750k, and we should be onto Aleer too.
I'm not all that keen on Silvagni, more a medium defender, which we need, but a more dynamic one imo.
But interesting stat from an ESPN article on different AFL skills. Wasn't aware of this one, might be why Pies are keen.

Best at turning defence into attack: Jack Silvagni (Carlton)

One of the most improved players in the game, 27.3% of Jack Silvagni's rebound 50s lead to a score, while 22.9% of his defensive half kicks have also sparked scoring opportunities for the Blues.

It's not really a draft for key backs. But they might have the conversation with Corr and back in Trembath.
Trembath is a forward.

His field kicking is terrible but his kicking for goal seems mostly good. He had one bad week but otherwise does well with accuracy.

You can find players anywhere - Josh Tracey, Neale , X and souva were taken late.

Need nifty nev to find some gold later in the draft
Sure. It's just not likely the draft to find those late gems with key backs and I think they'll have other priorities.
The drafting of Trembath also gives them another option down back if they were to move on KD and contracted Corr.

Wrote this in the Toby Pink thread as well, but;

Ignoring for a moment that Pinky clearly earned the new contract, it's also important to note that moving him to the senior list and off the rookie list is a pretty big indicator that the club expects to lose the extra rookie list spots for 2026.

Current rookies (we have two extra spots) and those in bold/italics are the ones I expect we'll see delisted at the end of the season:

Zac Banch
Kallan Dawson
Robert Hansen Jr (signed an extension that kicks in in 2026)
Finnbar Maley
Geordie Payne
Toby Pink (signed an extension that kicks in in 2026)
Brynn Teakle
Cooper Trembath

After our current season I’d guess we will keep the extra spots.

They don't have to move Toby off the rookie list and onto the main list.
They might just cut KD and Teakle, keep 6 rookies and give Geordie and Cooper Trembath another year development.
If Geordie doesn't get a debut this week after kicking four then his papers are probably stamped, so that'd be the 3 gone.

The drums will continue to beat louder as the wins don’t materialize
But it’s no longer a matter of patience. It’s a matter of action.

Clarkson has had time. He’s had support. And the results just aren’t there. The rebuild has hit a dead end, and the longer North wait, the more they risk wasting yet another generation of talent.

It’s time to start again. Not from scratch, from clarity. From a coach who wants to make their name, not rest on one.

Clarkson’s legacy is secure, but his time at Arden Street should be up.

Probably not even written by a North fan.

I reckon Cooper was gone until they played him. I suspect Payne and Ford similarly are gone unless they can pull something out of the hat, and I’d like to see them get a crack in the seniors to try.

Oddly enough injuries seem to be saving CCJ who probably keeps a spot before Teakle, who I’d prefer to keep of the two, but he really couldn’t cut it when he got his opportunity.

Then it’ll be interesting whether we continue with the nice guy approach to perennially injured players like George, Goater and Bergman. I want them to succeed but it feels like Taylor Garner all over again.
