Give Voss someone fast and he'd play them as a pure tagged, back pocket or 'burst stoppage mid' ala Dow - who he never ever figured out how to use anyway. Even when he had his mini 'hot streak' for us end of '23

Not convinced we don't have pace and don't know how much we need to add. Fully convinced it wouldn't have changed much this year.

So, just to confirm. How has Dow performed under all his other coaches? Did they turn him into a pacy player that is blitzing the competition? Or even just playing regular AFL football? Has Lyon got him burning up the field?
Just maybe, the bloke cant kick to save himself and not just his coaches have realised it, but he has as well. Nah, must be Vossy's fault.
As for these other pacy players we're hiding in the background, who are they?

Coaching panel will be notified before the end of next week means before Friday ...ie before GW steps in..

Not sure what he actually does? Ultimately our coaching, performance, & coaching performance all suck.

Backline Coach: Aaron Hamil
Our zone is dysfunctional, flooding the backline is not a valid tactic, we can't switch, we struggle to complete defensive handovers, we seem to be unaware that kickouts happen or what to do with them... Our defensive systems suck.

Midfield Coach: Tim Clarke
You know where this is going...

Forward Line Coach: Jordan Russell

VFL Senior Coach: Luke Power
Like what he's doing.

Head of Development: Brad Ebert
Not sure.

Development & Talent Manager: Tom Lonergan

Seems pretty obvious he’s been given the reins already.

Indeed I did. Parko was with Burwood Teachers College in the mid-80s and my primary school in Forest Hill was so small we didn't have a P.E. Teacher. Parko rocked up each week to take us for P.E. with his student teachers in tow. I think he liked demonstrating what discipline looked like

He was such a legend that he offered to fill in as the school footy coach when our principal (the normal footy coach) was undergoing chemo. It was pretty awesome to rock up at footy comps with a premiership coach on the school bus.

It's shocking to me that an 80 year old David Parkin and a man with an 80 year old brain in Greg Williams, weren't able to select a coach who could come up with a modern game plan.

Nope, the Aug1 is just a "general guidance", not enforced.

For me this is a very harsh take on Dow

He has had massive injury impacts to his time at St Kilda. The few games he played he did ok.

If he was wasting away in the 2s and showing nothing when he made an AFL appearance there would be validity to your post

Closest I can remember was a cold pie at Victoria Park when he signed us up to play for Fitzroy in the Big M Little League. I remember we made the teenage kid dressed as the Paddle Pop Lion cry for some reason.
