I have to say where has this eagles team been hiding all year, they look a completely different side to the cannon fodder we have seen. Still if we get up and win its a tough contest coming towards finals and we better learn from it

Yeah, I think the Eagles have been really good, especially in the first half. Taking their chances, delivering the ball well going forward, ferocious pressure and good effort with a makeshift defence. I think Adelaide should be winning given the talent gap but it's been a good performance for sure. Reminds me a bit of some of the better Crows efforts in the 2021-22 period.

One gigantic problem is the want for players in this game to play bruise free footy. Rankine needs an absolute blast. He should be utterly embarrassed with his efforts. Looking for cheap footy all the time instead of doing the team thing has to be the worst part of his game and its costing us. Thilthorpe has been shit. Fog walking around. Burgess maybe shit but at least he is trying. Even our normally good running defense is walking around.

This is why you dont play the same players rain hail and shine every week. golden ticket syndrome creeps in at the worst ****ing times.
