Agreed, they’re similar but Butters would be worth more and is the better player (for now).
Butters is the better player because he's shown it consecutively and a lot longer whilst also having massive pressure put on him by some of the best taggers. Nas is definitely on the right trajectory and going to be elite but it's not yet at that stage. Plus it's harder to tell the last several weeks because of who Saints have played. If Nas had games against sides that are top 10 and his team had more key players out putting more on his plate to then see how he plays and lifts would give a better picture

But any clown saying Nas is worth more than Butters has rocks in their head 🤦

Whilst I agree regarding Butters value, NWM did have 36 touches and kick 2 against Geelong in round 19 and 43 touches Hawthorn in Round 16.

The Saint have had a softer draw this year - courtesy of not playing finals for a while, but you can’t really say he hasn’t performed against top 10 teams.

Saints should be adamant a player is involved.. If the player isn’t Butters they should say no deal unless Miles Bergman is included.. He’s a very good player who the Saints were into before he signed on.. Bergman and a first rounder..Youve got to sell hope to your members if you lose a player like Nas and future first picks doesn’t do it..
I really wish the AFL would change the trade rules so he could only dictate he wants to go to his home state, and then saints negotiate with Crows and Power.. Same with players returning to Vic, Leave it open so clubs can get a reasonable deal for the exiting player..
Doesn't he walk if there is no deal?

What do Port or Crows have to trade for the star of the league? What happens when it's not enough?

What happens is unfortunately you have to take what they offer because he won't stay. This is how it is.

If Nas chooses The Port Power Football Club, both Bergman and Butters could be in play.
There are strong rumours Bergman has signers regret at the moment, and with Kenny gone, Butters may decide to pull the pin a year early.

The AFL don’t want players who seek a trade being forced into the draft which is why it hasn’t happened since Nick Stevens in 2003.

That is why the club a player is leaving negotiates as forcefully as possible for the best deal they can get, and then accept it even if an offer is unders.

Geelong understand this and recently have been masters of paying cents on the dollar in trades.

Isn't that what the PSD is for?

No. You will end up taking 2 first rounders and change so he doesn't end up in the draft and you get nothing. Players like Butters is fanciful. This is how the system is people just can't accept it.

After watching his interviews it 100% looks like he is gone.
I really feel for the Saints supporters, he is the shinning light in a terrible season, and is projecting to be one of the best players in the comp and he looks like he is leaving.
It can rip your heart out.

The crazy thing is if he nominated Adelaide, how good will its team be with him in it.
I think it won't happen, but to be honest, if he turned around and asked to be traded to Adelaide I wouldn't be totally shocked.

Just antagonising for no reason. Didn’t see you chirping so much last year?
Can I get any sort of source to these Bergman “rumours”? He’s pretty well been in for surgery since he re-signed!
