They've effectively taken the pressure off him by putting up this "wall" plus having Eddie and Joey basically tell everyone he's going to re sign.

That works if he stays.

My overanalysing of the interview is this... Decision has been made. If he doesn't sign next week personally I think we're cooked.

If he does nominate then we need to demand at least two current top ten picks. It is on the SA club to satisfy us. The trade itself will get very very ugly and unfortunately it will be very stressful for Nas.

I don't think there's as much in the interview pointing to him leaving as others say, but it does seem to me that something is happening. Our season ends in a week and I suspect we find out very soon.

He’s a thought… Club know he and others are staying and a dragging it out as long as possible to ensure, the club stays relevant in a season when on field the season was over weeks ago.

It’s a business, sponsorships and eyeballs and media attention is paramount. Especially for a smaller club. So, I think he stays a long with others, and week 1 of the finals it’ll be announced. I know that’s what I’d be doing if I ran the club. Maximise exposure. Every show on radio or on T.V speaks about it, if it’s not effecting the player or the group then just keep the intrigue and suspense going.

That was by far his worst game as a defender but it was a really shit back 6. Sinclair and Wilkie are elite but it was hubris to put that set up out there.

Leaky AF. Was terrifying every time it went down there. Camaniti bad, Stocker has struggled since coming back from injury. Tauru has gone very quiet - seems to have lost confidence. I support playing Trav down there in these dead rubbers, but he's clearly there to learn. If we're serious about having a crack next year, I think we need to retain Doogs, even with Leek coming in.

Exactly you have to over pay to get players (tdk for example). No issue offering an athletic beast a bit over average wage for a few years. And if he hits 700k because of incentives then he must be playing alright.

We have a good relationship with GWS and they know he is leaving for opportunity so no real bad blood in the negotiation.

I've said this before. It was my position with Battle and it continues: if a player doesn't want to play for the Club, then good luck and goodbye. I want players who bleed for the Club.

Fair enough if he was 12 years old, he’s a big boy he can make his own decisions.

If he wants to stay he will, if he leaves it’s his decision irrelevant of what his family wants.
