As much as I would have loved to see Molier debut, Polk would be the more deserving of the two based on reward for their VFL

This Tigers team on paper is not their worst this season

Far from it.

To put in perspective how mature last week's Richmond team was the average age was 29 days older than our round 1 team and we had the same number of under 23s.

They lost to North by 8 goals. We beat Freo by 13 goals.

All 3 of Stanley, Blic and DeK are capable of sharing ruck duties.

I don't disagree that Dek is capable of it, but he's just now after an up and down and injury affected year started to look better and confident. Not interested in him anywhere other than defense every minute.

Like the idea of keeping the group together and continuing to build synergy over a great run of form, but I agree.

Ultimately if everyone gets though it's the right decision, but it's still a worry, particularly with Stanley. I'd honestly rather Nank have 60 hitouts than play him, they're not gonna beat us either way.

I know we could argue it didn't matter in the end, but we played Stewart when we didn't have to this time last year, and he missed a qualifying final as a result.

We don't have to rest everybody, or anybody else, really...but the one guy we don't have any viable replacement for? It just feels like common sense.

There's no way those guys are going to play finals. It's best to treat this as a dress rehearsal of what we do if Neale misses a final or goes off injured.

If Stanley gets injured, we'd either run with Blicavs as our leading ruck supported by Neale & SDK

Or, they could go with SDK to carry the ruck load and back in a guy with 198 games under his belt to return & play his part in our defensive unit - Kolodjashnij may have been out most of the season, but I could see him returning before we throw Edwards in the deep end

You'll like it a lot more than Edwards getting absolutely monster by Witts, Cameron, Meek, etc and also being gassed by quarter time. At least SDK and Blicavs can somewhat compete in the ruck and then run them off their feet.

Probably won't matter but I don't understand the lineup at all. And it's not because I have an issue with Bews playing in general. It's who he's come in for and how it leaves the ruck/fwd setup. And IF Stanley cops an injury I'll lose my shit. He does NOT need to be playing in this f#cking game. We don't even have glass bodied, underdone Conway to bring in.
