Thought people were being a bit harsh on him after how good he was early in the year.

But holy shit, he gave Heather Kane a lesson in sucking today.

Such a nearly nearly player

You can almost see him sh…tting himself when he’s kicking for goal
Curtis used to have the same issue; looked visibly anxious and was way off-kilter in his run-up, and has improved it markedly. But where Curtis obviously had skill, Konstanty.... does not. Not sure we'll be able to coach him into a better routine

He's a big reason we were right in the game at the end but if he'd kicked straight we could have won ... so he gets another year to fix his kicking.
And barely getting the ball?
Players don’t magically learn how to kick a football overnight. Have you waited patiently for the likes of Scott and Simpkin to learn how to kick?
Stop being an apologist for everything. He has been shit.

Absolutely love his pressure and intent but if he doesn't fix the finishing he'll end up another Kayne Turner.

Must do both.

A lot of negativity here, and yes some of that is 100% justified with ball in hand and many goals in the offering. Let’s look at the positives for a guy that was the steak knives in the Parker deal.
  1. Played every game this year and for a guy with a bad run of injuries at the Swans that says something.
  2. His manic play when we don’t have the ball and it’s being exited from the F50 is something we need.
  3. He is a defensive forward and claimed some good scalps this year. See game against Aish at the Giants only 2 weeks ago.
  4. Barlow and the development coaches have plenty to work with over the Summer and he is only 20.
  5. He has some agro and little man mongrel about him. We need these types of players who don’t take a backward step.
  6. He gives Callum Mills PTSD 2 times a year when we play the Swans.

Doesn’t hit the scoreboard..
Another pressure forward, not as good as Kane Turner, maybe on par with Mahoney

He tackles much better than Mahony, at least.

Mahony is the sort of player you'd recruit if you were actively seeking out a bloke completely unsuited to AFL football in every way. An amusing pick in retrospect

Coulda won the game, sadly didn't. Makes a massive difference with his pressure, his tackling and the little things that don't snag a stat - the double effort tackle that pressured the ball loose for DS, iirc, to kick his goal in the 1st, and then the knocking of the ball from the crows bloke that ended up with DS for another in the 2nd. Needs to improve his composure with the ball. Covers plenty of ground, holds his space well. Has a year under his belt, needs to be better in front of the sticks next year. Imo.
