Was at my son’s birthday party tonight and spoke to his godfather who was at a function with Charlie the other week and had a chat to him and asked him outright if he’s leaving. Charlie emphatically said he’s staying at Carlton.

Minimum going rate would be 1.5m plus..given what Nasiah’s contract is…

Voss doesnt need mentoring, he needs players. Fast ones that can kick EOS. Kenny has said he wants to remain in SA, whether that's to pump up his price I dont know but we have to take him on his word.
If Butters doesnt want to come without Kenny so be it, others will.

Mentoring is more about having a sounding board for ideas and concerns than it is having a teacher. Can't think of anyone who would be a better fit for Voss than Ken.

100%. Another reason I think Ken would be good. I'd hope these conversations happen currently but you need to hear it from the right person.

Eg if my wife says that I probably dismiss it.
If my boss says it I probably get defensive.
If my best mate says it, I maybe take it on board.

My preference is just target fringe talent looking for opportunity that we can pick up cheeply that addresses an area of need, stockpile that tdk cash and pay some contracts forward to free up space for an area of need later down the track next years going to be a transition year.

I was just spitballing the only possible reason butters might be interested in joining us, we are not attractive to anyone looking like were on the slide potentially selling the farm into another rebuild.
