There was a discussion a while back about washing gym gear etc.
reckon these are 10 years and still going strong (guess which side of the wrap contacts my skin lol)
Gym towel and clothes are the most important items to wash.

My wrist straps are black, no showing grime.

Currently downsizing my home gym a bit, moved on both my benches for the 1 better adjustable bench and also sold all my competition bumpers, though the one thing I'm having a hard time moving on is my power rack.

Been trying to sell it on and off since last year, spent like $2500 on it and attachments, largest asking price I put up for it was $1500, dropped it down to $1000 still nothing, but have listed it nearly all year so far with new updated ads every 2-3 weeks, gunna be a massive loss once I find a buyer, that being said, already have its replacement, also changed up my training bigtime, just doing general hypertrophy work and walking nearly every day while dropping the kilos, not looking at breaking numbers any more, just want to be leaner and healthier, but yeah, hopefully can flip this power rack into a plate loaded pec deck/rear delt and I'll be pretty happy with my weights set up.

Sounds odd there isn't more interest, maybe there was a home gym buying spree during covid then everyone cooled off? Where are you advertising it? Gumtree sucks these days, everyone is on facebook market place. If you don't have a facebook account get a mate to list it.

Power rack to pec deck is a massive downgrade. Never saw the value in them and they still take up a chunk of space and very limited utility. Pec deck is pretty meh and no one can see your rear delts - side delts are where it's at ;).

I already have a pair of ATX squat stands to replace the power rack, can move them around as they have wheels

I try and replace first before selling so I don't get caught out

Yeah I went over to Marketplace like 3 months ago, it's basically what Gumtree was beforehand, never had a problem selling on Gumtree until last year, that being said it's very slow.
 
My goal is to squat 240kg and deadlift 270kg at the end of the year (my current body weight is 90kg and my best for both is 225kg/250kg respectively). I cracked the 140kg bench milestone years ago, but have since regressed there and would also like to get back to that point by year"s end.

Finally completed my home gym in it's current location

Found a buyer for my power rack half an hour away, catch was we had to deliver to him (though he helped me pull it apart and he took the smaller pieces home), though I got an extra 200 bucks out of it for doing that. Also sold my 2 dumbbell racks and upgraded to a big 3 tier dumbbell rack, so saving some floor space there, the only sacrifice was letting go of my pair of 45s, though I'm not sure I'll lift that heavy for a while (if ever again), I normally trained with the 42.5s back then if I was going heavy, but apart from that got a full set of 10s-42.5s in 2.5kg increments on the new rack which is nice, my smaller pairs are either nestling in between the big pairs on the bottom tier or tucked away elsewhere.

But yeah, sure I'll add to it in the future if I can but it's at a point where it's functional and alot of things complement each other, can set up supersets easy etc, also still got the option for a bit of barbell work if I want.

One of the best videos I've seen. Well explained and will give me a lot to work on in the coming months. So many nuances to the exercises.

Probably explains why I've been struggling with biceps than any other muscle group.

Anyone tried body scanners.

I dropped 11kg weight in 18 weeks.

163 and 66kg and somehow saying 23.7% body fat.
Lighting is crap and pre pump

The body builder pt says 18%

The issue with most scanners they are easily "manipulated" by water.....try it next time without drinking water (for a safe period of time) ....even dexa scans can be fooled by water content in the muscles and give a lower BF reading.

Measuring skin folds with calipers by the same person who is experienced is often the best way to do it.
 
Worst lower back pain I’ve ever had since Sunday. Bent down to pat the dog and it just flared up.

Taking panadeine forte and celebrex as prescribed by the doctor.

If it doesn’t ease up by the end of the week, I’m getting a CT scan.

Hurts to sit, stand, walk, and the sharp shooting pain I have radiates down my right leg and glutes.

Ive had that before from overstretching. Couldnt believe how much it hurt. Gone in a week.
