The Linton St rabble have only ever won one Flag, and the big photo had their captain wearing a Filth jumper, does anyone actually think their supporters like that? I'm from Ballarat, we had so many of our local champions (Frawley, Plugger, Burns etc) go down there they became our second team. Throw in the mix all the Carlton Old Boys, Chesty, Bomba, Macou, WOW and bloody Jezza. Why is there such a hatred of this club? It can't possibly come from any form of historical connection, must be personal.....it's not me, nor I'm sure many others? This is a fair, honest appraisal of a narrative that is not at all representative of how I feel about St Kilda

As they say in the classics "speak for yourself".

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Was thinking about JSOS. He loves the club very much. He wouldn't have walked out for no reason. Maybe he was told he wouldn't be in the best 22 and that was enough to make him walk?

How can Charlie meet with Cox when he's overseas atm anyway?

See ya Charlie

Charlie met with Cox before he went overseas AWG.

Club comes out twice in two days saying they will not be trading Curnow under any circumstances...

5 hours later two 'journalists' randomly come out with two updates that Charlie can't stand Voss and that he's met with Dean Cox 😂

Sounds like they're just desperate to keep the story going through to trade period.

Whether he stays or goes these journos are filthy of the earth types who will do anything to keep a story going. Sam McClure is the perfect example of that.

He was clearly our 2nd best def.
Money talks.

Charlie met cox before he left they reckon

Agenda setters - Charlie willing to take a pay cut wants away from Voss
Look, I can see some truth in this. Despite his lack of on field efforts, there would be a level of frustration that the opposition set up very easily on him because of our system. They usually have the direct opponent on him and are willing to sacrifice leaving a loose man with a second defender being very close the Charlie's contest. Often Charlie's direct opponent holds him at bay for the second player to come in over the top and kill the contest.

Happened too frequently.

Robbie D'Orazio desperately trying to make it happen for Charlie.

It's not a journalist's fault if Curnow's management are briefing them with updates every day.

Get rid of him. The way he’s carried on, if true, has been childish at best. Take a first round pick and a load off the salary cap while we can. His best is past him and those knees are COOKED

We don’t need to offload any more salary. We can play hardball here and get more than just a diluted first round pick in a shit draft.

Approx. 1.1m + 700k saved over the last week with TDK and SOS declining contracts.

At a guess 500k-600k saved by McGovern not meeting his trigger. If he stays we might save a good chunk of that as he’ll be on reduced $$, if he leaves it’s replaced by a kid on 100k.

Contracted Hollands, potentially off the books free to a good home. You can only assume he was on slightly under average $$. 250k-400k saved.

All of this money now immediately freed up with no major trade targets coming in at this point. We will no longer be pushed around at the trade table like we were with Kennedy, Owies and Martin (even Fisher and Dow).

Curnow stays unless it’s a monster deal. If you don’t want to hang around for the next 4 years well stiff shit. You signed.

Correct, what is it? How bad really is it?
Who knows what’s really going on
Not sure what you’re jumping at?

TDK $
JSOS $
CC who really knows but not the most stable of “leaders”

That’s it. The price you pay to drag players away from their club has been paid to make them jump.

All players “loved the club” at times.
Get on board but it seems CC doesn’t want to play the team song.

Edit: EH is a totally different case with the unknown of what he’s been up to.

Jack had plenty of opportunity left at the blues. Maybe not in 2 years but definitely for the next 2 and we offered him 4 years so he knew we valued him.
He wanted out not sure what melted him want out but it’s not because we didn’t value or support him.

Caro saying that GW is only just learning of how deep the issues between Voss and Charlie are.
IF that's true that's amateur hour. Wouldn't you sit down with every single player individually and get their thoughts and feelings towards Voss, his gameplan, strengths and weaknesses etc. I refuse to believe he wouldn't have known the blow back from keeping Voss- surely he was all over this and factored it in to the decision to keep him. But wowee if true.. all you can do is shake your head.

And that’s the line in the sand from GW it’s club above individual.
Regardless if he knew how deep it is/was from Charlie he obviously knew there was something.
Maybe that’s the reason they put Charlie in the leadership group? Try and get him to grow up a bit or give him some responsibility. Who knows. But Charlie’s got 4 years to go so either his manager gets us a ridiculous return or get over it and see you first day of preseason mate.

Let's be real here... How the **** would Caro know what Graham Wright knows?

All nonsense from his manager to try and force a trade, nothing more.
