What to make of this rumour!
Charlie wanting out? Our Red Wedding?
Jack leaving Carlton? The wall has fallen?
Our injury list? More corpses than the White Walker army?
Agree to an extent.A true die hard long time Carlton support all hate St Kilda. The hate is real back from the 80's when our players went to St Kilda to retire.
St Kilda have this facination with all things Carlton since then.
Look at how many Carlton people they have had over the years.
I would go as far as saying the hate for St Kilda is different to the Collingwood and Essendon ones. At least Collingwood and Essendon we respect for being rivals. With St Kilda it is deeper than that.

We moved on from Fev because of off field issues, and he was 150x the player Lij is, we'll manage. It's a shame as he does have attributes that we need, but ultimately, he's not worth the hassle.I have no issue with the club letting EH go...there comes a point where continuing to support someone is actually not in their best interests and just perpetuates the status quo.
If the club isn't seeing any change in him, time to part ways.
He was still at the end, IIRC. Played the last game and they embraced along with words of support from CC.He was but so was everyone early doors. That changed for many the more they played under him. Charlie lined up for just 7 of the 50 games Teague coached.
Tis the season of disgruntlement..Media running with him being disgruntled.

He doesn't deserve any sympathy; he was suspended for off-field substance problems even before arriving to the club. Before he'd played a game there was already talk from coaches/leaders that he had to re-earn the trust of the group. He's leaving the club the exact same way he arrived at the club and no one is to blame but him.
The Suns trading a top 7 pick 2 years later for a bag of peanuts should've been a huge red flag. They couldn't have given him away any cheaper
CC exit interview was Festivas come early with the "airing of the grievances"Tis the season of disgruntlement..

Teague was big on CC being the FF out of the goal square.
Laidback nature & surfing prob helped to gel.
Threaten his career? There's one person who has threatened Elijah's career and it's not the coach. I don't understand the thinking. It's the nature of the industry. Careers are created and ended on an annual basis. It's mandated by the league to make minimum changes to your list. At least Elijah is still contracted.
If you want to feel empathy, feel it for an Alex Cincotta who gave everything possible to make an AFL career. Left no stone unturned. Or a Harry Lemmey who moved interstate as an 18 year old and has had his dream taken away.
Not a recidivist ratbag who has had more than his share of opportunities and continues to piss them up against the wall.
Have to remember that he plays for the Weagles too, so likely the type to be even better in a better team.
delisted ufa22 year old, former first rounder from the Eagles who played the last month. Good ball user but been plagued by injuries (right up our alley) to hold him to just 36 games.
best mates with crippsIf we get Merrett, you can vomit in my mouth!!
Would take in a heartbeat..
Chesser would be a great acquisition. Really quick and good ball user. Reminds me of Finn Callaghan.

His disposal efficiency over the 4 games was 65%, 46%, 68%, 47%...Chesser is kind of a younger Acres, big bodied outside mid. His kicking looks prettier, but am less convinced on it efficacy.

That's what you want to hear. Now, I think Gulden / Butters are targets 1 & 2 in any Charlie outcome.Tim Watson said on SEN this morning when discussing the Charlie situation that he was hearing that Charlie’s relationship wasn’t great with Vossy and the club has had enough of Charlie’s attitude and dealing with him.
He also mentioned he was hearing that Jed Walter wasn’t entirely happy with how he was being played up at the suns, so he could be an option if a trade is done with the suns.
Agreed, Butters and Gulden would be the dream result if we trade Charlie. If we do a deal with the suns then I want Walter to be the centrepiece of the trade. That's what you want to hear. Now, I think Gulden / Butters are targets 1 & 2 in any Charlie outcome.
But I think I've said - Flanders, Walter and a future pick could be the best outcome all up. Has a little of everything.
I'm sure Ollie knows what a ego/self centred brother he has got.
Not a FA, has an offer on the table from WCdelisted ufa
It's probably fair enough, things have gone bad at Carlton and we all know that. Players have backed the club in to deliver success and that has failed so I can get where they are coming from.I’ve been told the playing group has effectively split into two camps.
1. The Monogram / Voss Supporters
These are the players who back the club if not Michael Voss specifically and don’t want to go through yet another coaching merry-go-round. Based on the public comments we’ve heard this year, it’s not hard to work out which players are in this group, even if they’ve been linked to moves elsewhere.
2. The anti-Voss camp.
These are the players who wanted the blame for the club’s struggles placed squarely on Voss. They’ve shown a lack of professionalism and accountability, and just as we’ve identified members of the first group, it’s becoming clear who belongs here as well.
Of course, some players sit in the middle. Some are too young or inexperienced to have much influence, while others are at a stage of their careers where it simply doesn’t matter as much. For instance, it’s pretty clear where Weitering and Walsh stand right now—though with Walsh, you get the sense that if things don’t improve next year, he already has an exit strategy in mind. Cripps, meanwhile, may be thinking more about life after football. His legacy as one of Carlton’s greats is secure, premiership or not, and he knows better than anyone that success at that level is beyond his individual control now.
