Contracted so would be a trade. Wilkie is worth that more than SOS being worth 900k though.Welp - that'll give them band 1 won't it?

The players association exists and so do managers. The big dollar longer contracts afforded to stars would not get off so lightlyI'd have thought it the other way around, the higher end, expensive deals stick to what they are and the lower ones adjust to the inflation of the cap. It would be the advantage for clubs offering long term expensive salaries, knowing inflation will make them more affordable longer term.
Wilkie is contracted so it's just a trade were he to leave.

Won't happen, Ross' most valuable player and he loves his defenders. Almost think JSOS putting his hand up to finally play defence was driven by Ross and SOS to eyeball if he can fit in a defenders rolel
Had a dig around and couldn’t find it, just remember it raised the eyebrows slightly at the timeWhich quote is this from Kennedy? I remember him saying they do a lot more skills work but I haven't heard anyone talk of Carlton's training as anything less than extremely high intensity. David King in fact said we train as hard as any team he's seen and he wonders if that's a cause of our injury issues.
dirty stuff!I can tell you that as good a theory as that it is it was driven by Jack.
was there ever an end of year groin injury?I can tell you that as good a theory as that it is it was driven by Jack.
all goodI should not attempt to do math while my head feels like it's full of cotton wool from the painkillers I'm on. Strangely, I only just noticed that after I read your response and replied to it.
losing TDK and (probably) Charlie demands we target a big gun....With just over a month left until Trade Period begins, I imagine Graham, Chris and the List team will be working overtime to improve the team with a focus of getting in players who a) want to be here, and b) will help make us a better side overall (fill needs, not just be available).
Robbie Fox would be about 145cm tall.If Mcgovern goes and we don't get Khamis, Robbie Fox would be a capable stop gap whilst Dean develops and HOF is on the sidelines. He plays above his size and knows how to find the pill.

If Sydney won't offer up a Gulden, Heeney or the Lizard (as examples) + decent, stainless steel steak knives (eg Roberts, Haywood), then a 3 club trade with a Butters level guy is the only option...
(otherwise Charlie stays)

yeah - ultimately we should be getting something reasonably extraordinary for Charlie, whcih is actually a fair trade despiet all the media BSlosing TDK and (probably) Charlie demands we target a big gun....

yep, need to move past average types like him...Rd 5? More like rd 2. Only played well in the first 2 rds, then 3 or 4 very average games and was banished.
He's not very good. He's a decent kick but he wouldn't really add anything more than what Boyd does, for example. He would make no difference for us, Acres is much better despite worse skill. He is a good structural wing and good mark overhead who helps in defence. Scholl gets lost in transition, doesn't help defensively and is non-existed as a marking threat. His good kicking is an attribute every club wants in theory, but nothing else about his game warrants selection.
I ripped one of the muscles in my shoulder helping my mum into bed the other week. And because I'm her primary care giver, I am not recovering properly. When I rotate my shoulder, it clicks and hurts.all good
hope you off your pain killers soon!
Thanks Sherlock.I am actually fairly comfortable with letting Wright & Davies decide who stays & who goes as both have exceptional resume's in the industry.
I understand supporter angst around losing TDK, Jack & maybe Charlie, but it might be the catalyst we need to move on as a club & raise the bar of standards with the playing group.
sounds liek every joint in my body - rugby rah rah trahI ripped one of the muscles in my shoulder helping my mum into bed the other week. And because I'm her primary care giver, I am not recovering properly. When I rotate my shoulder, it clicks and hurts.
Apparently they see eye to eye on most thingsferrisb is his manager
Should have cap space and picks for Bailey even if Charlie stays imoOut of the white wash of it all. Imo, I definitely think we’d have the picks and cash to have a real crack at a Bailey or butters. If Charlie ends up going and we end up getting more picks, then that’s where I’d be throwing my chips.
Hopefully if Jsos gets us brand 1 we can try and get both Bailey and Flanders with both compo picksEasily. TDL, JSOS, McGovern all gone. And that’s without whatever we’ve saved from the desisted players.
We’re going to need to keep something up our sleeve for H.Dean on the pick front (and Ison as well for a bit later).Hopefully if Jsos gets us brand 1 we can try and get both Bailey and Flanders with both compo picks
