Thilthorpe was neutralised on the ruck work by Cox. Cox crashing the pack bringing the ball down and a couple of times actually marking it is WHY a tall ruck forward is critical for Pies structure.
Cox haters in shambles. They need to find his replacement, should be scouting the NBA draft.


Quaynor was simply breath taking tonight. Just simply unstoppable on all the contests and was a superstar.

Frampton had a couple of bloopers but also a heck of a lot of good spots, Thilthorpe made him look small even though both are 6'7.

Moore had a jittery start but was channeling his AA self. He was marking everything via intercepts. Huge game. Maynard played well too.

Parker had a spot where he didn't put effort and it resulted in a Crows goal and he got yanked out straight away. That's a learning lesson for him. He will learn from this game, he can't be playing on 3rd gear or be caught strolling along... need to be like a pit bull at all times. Steele showed his class again first touch and then finds a player inside 50.

Pendles, another sublime game. Sidebottom was critical with his goals along with Elliot.
Mihocek is having a bad slump, he just seems to be slower than normal, he can't get away from his defender and can't win a one on one right now.... but worst of all his kicking is horrible. But he's a threat each time so he can't miss a game, especially since McStay has been worse.

Bobby Hill is essential, so he should be training hard this weekend and all week next week. He needs to play next game to throw a wrench in the other teams plans.
