My understanding of the finals process is that your team is a much better chance to win a flag by finishing 4th and winning your Qualifying Final, than you are if your team peaks at a 5.5 win season in 16th place.

I'm not quite as optimistic, but I'm getting there. Someone needs to be the first to win from fourth. Why not us? Finals are their own special brand of beast, and Grand Finals yet another. Nothing's guaranteed or set in stone until the final siren sounds on the last Saturday in September. Almost anything can happen on the day, and often does.

Dramatically changed my opinion of Collingwood just not as a team, but as football club after recent events - stand up bunch of players and an organisation who took a stand to make football a better and more inclusive place.
