My guess he's not feeling secure or valued.
We've said we will offer him a contract but we want to see how trade week plays out first. In other words, we have another small forward lined up in trades or we want to involve him in a trade to get back what we want and if all else fails we keep him. Can't blame him for wanting out if he doesn't feel valued.

In exactly the same vein that on output club cannot provide the security or feeling of being valued owing to his lack of progress. Quid pro quo. Shouldn't be feeling secure. If he doesn't see that as head down bum up and wants out. Let him go.

I don't disagree that he had a solid finish. I was a big time hater after his final last year and he won me over this year.
