Ill be nervous against hawthorn but we have far more experience than them and that plus our forward line should get it done.

PF’s are generally the hardest games to win, it’ll be the first time for a lot of those Hawks players. We fell agonizingly short last year, the boys will lean on that next week. We are primed, healthy and ready, but it will be a huge one next week, we can’t afford to not have our kicking boots on in front of goal next week.

There’s no way that Adelaide ever looked like they deserved to be minor premiers.

First team in 35 years of AFL-VFL (having at least 15 teams) to rise from 15th to 1st.
Sheer flukery then going by tonight, unless they stage a massive Lazarus, Hawks defence and structure too good.
But horrible punch gut reminder of us going out in straight sets, whenever that was, but we did.

Well any prelim carries nerves. It's certainly not overconfidence on my end. But it's exciting too. To be the best you have to beat the best, sometimes on their home deck and even when it's not "fair". Hawthorn are one of the best teams so it looks like we have to try and knock them out.
