Would be nice but end of the day it's about 500 points difference from band 2 so not a deal maker in itself.Possibly bumping the JSOS compo up to a band 1 compo.

* might also have a look at him to stiffen up their defence.May probably goes to the Bulldogs.
go watch May against Collingwood in the last game of the year .. just the 1st half .. when I watched it he was so bad I turned to my mate and said this should be investigated for throwing a game… he was shocking and if that’s the way it’s heading no thanks

Pretty sure he won the reserve Coleman this seasonMaybe he just checked out like Charlie and TDK did.![]()
"Stephenson has personally approached several AFL clubs, including Port Adelaide and Carlton, to gauge their interest in him, according to three sources who confirmed on the condition of anonymity his wish to return to the top level."

Retired AFL rising star seeking shock comeback
Former Collingwood and North Melbourne utility Jaidyn Stephenson wants to end his brief retirement to play in the AFL next year.www.theage.com.au
Or may notYeah, they may as well.
100% spot on. Bring in May and keep Charlie, we are realistically back in finals. My reason for wanting May is that it would free up and take the pressure off of Weiters. It would also allow Hayes to stay as the third option instead of the second option which would be disastrous.
Harry Dean will be in his first year so we can’t expect too much from him and with HOF out we really lack key position depth down back. Don’t think it will cost as much trade wise either.
Wouldn’t be my number one priority but think he would be a good option for a couple years to help Weiters and allow Harry Dean and HOF to develop.
Plus we are a nice team, we need some mongrel and aggression.
Steven May turns 34 in Jan next year…might be too young to fit their age profile Esk.I reckon Collingwood look at May as well
O
Wright would know all about it so if we do I back him in and if we don't then there's your answer.
Freakish talent. Major disappointment with red flags. If has turned corner could be huge bargain.O

He was gone to North in the fire sale before Wright arrived at the Filth.

Agreed!! We add May, Jiath, Chesser, Riedy and Buku (plus whatever other opportunities present themselves during the trade period) in addition to Dean and Ison in the draft that really elevates our list depth.100% spot on. Bring in May and keep Charlie, we are realistically back in finals.
How have you reached that conclusion? It's funny how you say it like there not successful doing it![]()
I'd be happy with 2 kids with a potentially long career from GWS for a disgruntled Charlie.Gold Coast is the only club with the volume of talent and the urgency of success that could see them part ways with home-grown academy guys. Charlie is also a uniquely marketable player that the AFL would love to have up there.
They could lose Walter, Flanders and Rogers and not feel any difference to their depth and best 22. They have Lombard, Patterson and Zeke next year who are all freakishly good.
Chambers you sayAgreed!! We add May, Jiath, Chambers, Riedy and Buku (plus whatever other opportunities present themselves during the trade period) in addition to Dean and Ison in the draft that really elevates our list depth.
Newy and Jagga back and hopefully a healthy Charlie and Walshy as well as an updated and modern game style developed with our new assistant coaches we will be much better next season.

Sorry Chesser lolChambers you say![]()
Wat, we literally need less grunt.I tell you what I am not a fan of. The continuous blooding of young players that are light and don't turn into beasts. The only players recruited over the past 10 years that are ELITE in every way are Cripps and Weitering. Outside of that we have not only recruited poorly but keep going for slight, light players that get injured every 5 minutes because their bodies aren't up to the battle. We need grunt. Then the Walsh like players don't have top get killed in the contested ball every week.
TA
Carlton respects…..Watch next yr when a geelong or Collingwood take him and he kills it
And all the clueless people on here say he's to old or bad for culture, meanwhile the geelongs and Collingwoods keep being successful even with players like that are on there lists
