I'd start with Miers or Holmes and if its a no, I'd walk away and block their number.

Not only should we already have Geelong's number blocked, but we should have a restraining order in place...

There is also talk about

flanders to dees
petracca to suns

Can suns afford to release humphrey as well as flanders ?

Gaining petracca may make it easier ??
Flanders to Dees is also what I've heard, because of the Steven King connection when he was caretaker at the SUNS and played Flanders in the midfield (apparently sees him playing that role at Melb).
TBH, I think Humphrey is what we need more than Flanders anyway

Get out of the state, and his “party life“ state of mind
Needs to grow TFU
And pay back the Bulldogs for this year!
Sums up society at the moment. Kids getting a $m a year and not turning up to work, smashing drugs with no consequences.

Dogs should get an end of first round pick for him, and he should be banned for playing at the AFL level for at least 2 years. They need to send a message about this sort of behaviour or it will become even more common

Who we perceive as a 'A' grader is very subjective and used way too much in a side full of champions, and is not really a true reflection of their ability.

It's a lot easier to accumulate with teammates hitting you lace-out, and distribute with teammates knowing when and where to spread or run in support, or kick goals or do the 1%'s when you have a team playing on a high energy vibe.

Take any of those players and put them in a team with a poor culture, heavy atmosphere of supporter expectation - all baying for blood, and only the TRUE champions can shut that out and still perform.
It’s also much easier to hit players when they run to the right places.

For mine, one of the most evident, stark differences between us and the teams that played last weekend was the movement, leads, and running patterns.

We’re always banking on a pinpoint accurate kick to hit a player with no room to work with, or the long bomb to static players, or the super fast chaos ball to whatever happens to be in front of them at the time.

Good teams have players moving into space that allows a higher tolerance on the kick execution, while also making things harder for the opponents trying to defend.

I'm actually more on board with a priority pick being given in this sort of situation than I am with clubs getting them for being shit for a few years.

what you're trying to say is our forward line coaching has been abysmal for years....

☝️ 100%

and hence why I put the blame on coaching first and foremost.

It’s too simplistic to argue we don’t have enough ‘good kickers’.

And this is 100% what's wrong with our forward line (and the delivery into the 50m). No-one can find space.
I don't think it's just us, but the teams that play 'old-school' forwards (Crows/Walker, Giants/Hogan, Tigers/Lynch) who know their craft seem unstoppable at times.

I really would love Harry to stop running under the ball and taking it at the highest point, and start leaping up and marking it on his chest Wayne Carey style. Even Harris Andrews can't stop that.

But then you need someone capable of delivering it that way.

Buku couldn't get a run in the doggies senior side so we take him 🤦‍♂️
WB can't develop anything other than mids who drift forward, but they're very good at doing that. They've lucked into the KPP they do have - with only Naughton and English being the genuine good pickups - via NGA, FS, ****ing around with a discarded second ruck and profiting off Covid.

If we see Khamis as a medium who plays tall I can see why we'd back him to come good, as our record developing talls is substantially better and we already have development templates established with clear role expectations.

So maybe Curnow to GCS for This year's and next year's 1st rounders. Even if the draft pool is shallow, we'll still need those picks for Walker. Better to trade someone who doesn't want to be there for someone who does.

Better off holding him for another year.
If we want picks, he'll be a more valuable trade asset next year.

What if he blows his knee out or has the worst season of his career? Lets face it Charlie will not really be in the right mind set for us next season if we hold him.

Future can never be predicted and move him now i reckon with these new rules to father son.
